23 2007 NRBC Terms & Conditions National Reining Breeders Classic Program Terms & Conditions STALLION ENROLLMENT Stallions enrolling for the first time will pay an initial fee of $2,250 or $2,000 if the stallion nominator does not wish mares by the stallion to be eligible for the current year s mare bonus program. The $2,250 is divided as follows: $1,000 for the Prepaid Pass Out Fee, $1,000 for the current enrollment year and $250 to allow mares by the stallion to be eligible for the current year mare bonus. For stallions renewing their enrollment, the fee is $1,250 which includes $250 for the Mare Bonus Program. If the stallion nominator does not wish mares by the stallion to be eligible for the current year s mare bonus program, the fee is $1,000. Stallion renewals must be postmarked no later than February 1 or there will be a $1,000 late charge. The annual stallion fee is allocated in the following way: 70% is purse money for the current year s show and 30% is administrative expense (advertising, promotional materials, office staff, postage, etc.). In the event of death, being sold or the stallion owner electing to no longer participate in the program, the stallion s Prepaid Pass Out Fee will be drawn on to insure the eligibility of foals of the stallion s last breeding year. The stallion will also be listed as Passed Out in all advertising stallion listings. The owner/agent or nominator of the stallion agrees to provide NRBC promotional information to each mare owner breeding to the stallion. He or she also agrees to mail NRBC Foal Enrollment Forms to the owner of each live foal at the time the Breeders Certificate is provided. The promotional material and forms are provided by the NRBC and may also be found on the NRBC Web Site FOAL ENROLLMENT To be eligible for the 4-, 5- and 6-year-old National Reining Breeders Classic, the foal must be sired by a currently subscribed NRBC stallion. Owner/agent must complete the enrollment form (attach a copy of the registration papers, if available at this time), enclose a one time payment for $200 per foal, postmarked by September 15, of their birth year, or $250 if postmarked by December 31, of their birth year. Enrollment forms missing any pertinent information will be held. The owner/agent will be notified by phone, fax, or by mail to complete the enrollment process. Late enrollment of foals is as follows: $2,500 - yearlings $7,500-2-year-olds $10,000-3-year-olds and older If you do not have the registration papers back from the breed association, you can still enroll. When you receive the registration papers, fax a copy to us and we will send your NRBC Certificate at that time. p Pending from AQHA, Breed APHA Association Foal Name Please Print Clearly Foaling Date Sex p Embryo Transfer Breed Sire Dam Foal Owner Name and Address Alternate Name and Address Contact (if desired) p Postmarked by Sept. 15 of birth year $200 p Postmarked by Dec. 31 of birth year $250 p During yearling year* $2,500 p During 2-year-old year* $7,500 p During 3-year-old year or later* $10,000 *Payment plans available.
