1 Refunds: Absolutely no refunds. Any owner not making all payments on time or not participating in the futurity events will forfeit all money paid in Sale Discount: Any horse entered and showing in this futurity can be entered in the 2017 NILE Gold Buckle Select Horse Sale at a reduced consignment fee of $75. The horse must be entered on a regular consignment form, which must be received at the NILE office on or before the entry deadline of all sale consignments. Purse Breakdown: Breeder/Owner Purse Split: The breeder of the horse will receive 25% of the winnings. The owner of record at futurity time will be paid the balance. Eligibility will remain with the horse regardless of changes in ownership in the interim. If there are not enough eligible entries competing in the futurities to use all placings as outlined in the purse breakdown, the money not used will revert back Purse $7,000 added money $19,500 estimated purse total

2 Nominated Stallions: Any foal sired by a nominated stallion would be eligible to enter the Three-Year-Old Futurity, Four-Year-Old Futurity, Five-Year-Old Futurity or Barrel Futurity, even if it did not go through a NILE Horse Sale. Copy of registration certificate must accompany this form. Nomination fee of $250 due August 15. Late fee of $300. All money paid to nominate stallions will be added back into the futurity purse(s) for which the stallion was nominated, minus a $40 office charge per nomination. Stallion Owner/Horse Owner Purse Split: The owner of the stallion will receive 25% of any futurity winnings. Eligibility will remain with the horse regardless of changes in ownership in the interim. Stallion must be nominated each year. Nominated stallions get 1/4-page advertisement in Horse Sale Catalog. Ads must be turned into NILE by August 15. Absolutely NO refunds. Run in the futurity section, time carries over to Running the Rims time. 2D Format. Exhibition Runs 12 noon, Race starts at 4 p.m. Open to any 3, 4, or 5-year-old horse that was sold in through the NILE sales. Or is sired by a 2017 nominated stallion. YEARLING FUTURITY: Open to any 2016 foal sold through the NILE Gold Buckle Sale October 21, Horses will be shown at halter as a group, then shown individually free of lead line in a round pen for 90 seconds. Horses will be judged on movement, training/manners, and conformation. Lame or unsound horses will be severely penalized.

4 SNAFFLE BIT TWO-YEAR-OLD FUTURITY: Open to any horse born in 2015 that has been sold through the NILE Gold Buckle Select Horse Sale. Horses will be shown in a snaffle bit and ridden two-handed. Legal snaffle bit and head gear will be as outlined in the AQHA rule book. Lame or unsound horses will be severely penalized. The futurity will be shown in three separate classes: Halter, Western Pleasure and Reining pattern. Horses will be shown in western stock saddle. Riders will show in western attire.

5 THREE-YEAR-OLD FUTURITY: Open to any Weanling sold in the 2014 NILE Horse Sale, Yearlings sold in the 2013 NILE Horse Sale, or any Two- Year-Old sold in the 2016 NILE Horse Sale plus any Three-Year-Old that is sired by a sponsoring stallion that has been nominated. See Stallion Nominations section for qualifications to nominate a stallion. Horses will be shown in a snaffle bit and ridden two-handed. Legal snaffle bit and head gear will be as outlined in the AQHA rule book. Lame or unsound horses will be severely penalized. The futurity will be shown in two separate parts: Horses will show first in a reining pattern (Pattern to be selected by NILE). Horses will then show working cattle. They will work individually boxing a cow at the end of the arena. Horses will be shown in western stock saddle. Riders will show in western attire.

8 OPEN FUTURITY: Open to any age horse sold through the NILE Gold Buckle Select Horse Sales. Proof that horse went through NILE sale must be presented and verified. To verify you must present, copy of registration papers with sale catalog, sale invoice, or other approved methods. Offspring of nominated stallions are NOT eligible for Open Futurity. Contestants will be split into three categories: Youth (under age 18), non-pro (exhibitor does receive money for showing, training, giving lessons, clinics, or assisting in the training of a horse, etc), and pro (more than $5,000 life time earnings). Horses will show in a Working Cow Horses pattern. The Working Cow Horse pattern will be selected by NILE. Horses will work individually boxing a cow at the end of the arena, then taking the animal down the fence and making at least one turn each way on the fence. Next, the contestant shall rope and stop the animal, then return it to the catch pen. Two loop limit.
