2 SHOWTIME NOVICE SHOWING SHOW RULES AND REGULATIONS YOUR SIGNATURE ON THE ENTRY FORM SHALL BE CONSTRUED AS ACCEPTANCE OF THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. ALL classes will be run under the Rules of the relevant Societies/Championship Organisers. 2. TELEPHONE and ENTRIES will be accepted. Telephone or entries cannot be guaranteed until the fee is received. Entries will not be refunded except under the rules referred to in Clause 1 or on production of a vet s certificate with a 2 deduction to cover administration costs. 3. THE Show reserves the right to cancel add to or amend any of the classes as it thinks fit; alter advertised times; refuse entry without stating the reason. PLEASE REGULARLY CHECK OUR FACEBOOK PAGE. 4. THE decision of the Organiser and/or the judges is final. 5. HEALTH & SAFETY: (a) All events are organised in accordance with H & S legislation. The organisers will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of those attending the show. For these measures to be effective everyone attending must take similar precautions to prevent and avoid accidents and obey the instructions of the organisers, stewards, judges and other officials. (b) Dogs are not permitted in the competition or car parking areas. They must be kept on a lead in the lorry parking area. (c) Bicycles, roller blades, scooters, etc. are not permitted on the showground (d) Horses/ponies must not be tied up outside boxes/trailers and left unattended or tied to any gates or fences. (e) If any horse/pony has been in contact with any infectious disease it should not attend the show. (f) No lunging is allowed in the parking or warm-up areas. (g) All vehicles should enter and leave the parking area with due consideration for others and vehicles should be parked in a sensible manner. (h) Hay and other rubbish must not be left on the showground and droppings should be removed. Droppings can be placed tidily on the muck heap at the showground. 6. STALLIONS: The following rule applies to members and non-members of all organisations competing or preparing to compete at the show. No person shall allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible as owner, lessee, authorised agent or rider to compete or be prepared to compete in the show without taking adequate precautions to ensure other members of the public are not put at risk of injury. STALLION DISCS MUST BE WORN. No rider/handler under 15yrs may exhibit a stallion in any class. 7. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY: Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the show, its officers, servants or agents, the show shall be under NO liability for injury, loss or damage, however occasioned, suffered by competitors, spectators, their property servants or horses in connection with or arising out of the show. 8. Competitors/owners must have their own insurance which includes suitable public liability cover. 9. OBJECTIONS accompanied by a deposit of 50 must be made in writing to the Show Secretary within 15 minutes of the incident, such deposit to be forfeited if the objection is not sustained. PLEASE PICK UP YOUR DOGGY POO AND TAKE IT HOME WITH YOU - POO BAGS ARE NOT TO BE LEFT AROUND OR HUNG ON TREES OR FENCES DATA PROTECTION 2018 Due to new data protection laws which came into force in 2018 we need to inform you that a photographer will be on site on the day of the show. If you do not wish to have your photos taken please inform the Show Secretary on the day when you collect your number

3 SHOWTIME UNAFFILIATED NOVICE SHOWING SHOWS 2019 Open to horses and ponies not having won a cash prize of or more in any showing class. Any ridden class may be ridden astride or side saddle. No class will be ridden by a judge with the exception of Class 14 where horses exceeding 15hh will be ridden by the judge. Entries 15hh and under in Class 14 will be asked to do an individual show. All exhibits in this class will be stripped for conformation. There will be a short break between each class to enable competitors to practice ride in the arena. START NOT BEFORE 9.00 am Nb. LYNN RUSSELL NOVICE RIDDEN PONY TRAINING CLASS. Any type or breed not exceeding Class hh. Ring craft, standing horses up for presentation, display, assessment (Will also include lead rein.) Class 3 Class 4 Class 5 NOT BEFORE am NOVICE OPEN RIDDEN PONY. Any type or breed NOVICE RIDDEN NATIVE, LARGE & SMALL BREEDS (special rosettes to each best of breed, small or large) NOVICE RIDDEN SHOW PONY to include Lead Rein TUFFA BOOTS PONY CHAMPIONSHIP Open to 1 st & 2 nd Classes 3 to 5. (Rosettes to both sections) NOVICE HACK & RIDING HORSE. (Special rosette to best of each type) Class 10 Class 11 Class 12 NOVICE COB. Lightweight, Heavyweight, Maxi. (Special rosette to best of each type) NOVICE WALK & TROT plus BEST TURNED OUT (Ridden or In Hand) Open to Horses & Ponies NOVICE FOREIGN BREEDS 14.2hh and over AFTERNOON CHAMPIONSHIP Open to 1 st & 2 nd Classes 7 to 12 (Champion, Reserve & 2 nd Reserve) NOT BEFORE 3.00 pm Class 13 Class 14 OPEN RETRAINED RACEHORSE (may be split into Flat & National Hunt) Will be required to do a short individual show but will not be stripped. OPEN SHOWING CLASS. Any type. Horses exceeding 15hh will be ridden by a judge, entries 15hh and under will be asked to do an individual show. All exhibits will be stripped for conformation. Training Classes rosettes to all TROPHY from TRADITIONAL SPUN GLASS & SHOW JACKET from MRS CANDY TO THE WINNER at the end of show season Prizes in kind to Reserve and Second Reserve. Nb. Classes may be amalgamated if insufficient entries. Please be sure to read rules and regulations of the show. Certified first aider on site but in the case of serious accident a 999 call will be made for ambulance to attend.
