1 Friday 25 th May SHOW HORSE & SHOW HUNTER SCHEDULE - EA, SHC Open & Intermediate, & Unregistered Classes - All Events to be held on the SHOWGROUND MAIN ARENA. RULES & REGULATIONS: 1. This show is affiliated with the Equestrian Australia (Tas), and the Show Horse Council of Tasmania. All events are conducted under either E.A. or S.H.C.T Rules, with special conditions of the Midland Agricultural Association Inc excepted. The MAA reserves the right to combine, add or delete classes as required. 2. All horses competing in hacking events must be registered with either the E.A. or S.H.C, unless specified, and must have current applicable height certificates for Open or Intermediate Height Saddle classes. 3 Unregistered horses may only compete in classes marked with a * on Friday afternoon 4. A novice horse is one that has not won 3 Novice classes or one Open class at an Agricultural or EA or SHCT Show. 5. Leading Rein section caters for both registered and unregistered entrants. Registered competitors must comply with clause 2 above. Please refer to section for class particulars. 6. Prize money may be substituted with trophies or product. 7. Further show information available from 8. Doping and cruelty clauses will apply as printed. Random swabbing may occur. 9. Current standard safety helmets MUST be worn. 10. The MAA reserves the right to refuse entry without assigning a reason. ENTRY FEES: M.A.A. Members: Non Members: Horse Stabling: - $55.00 Annual Membership subscription due with entries - All classes $5.00 entry GST inclusive. - Double entry fees - $10.00 per class GST inclusive. - Rental $10.00 per night, bedding provided. - Preference will be given to M.A.A. Members. - No stallions to be kept on ground overnight. Stables currently have straw in them however this straw is approximately 2 years old. 2 USE OF SHOWGROUNDS INFORMATION: The 2018 Show will again be conducted on the Showground's main arena. To utilise the best part of the arena and to allow sufficient warm up area, only two rings will run. Parking: For those staying overnight camping is available next to the Main grounds. Entry is via the Glenelg Street Gate. There is to be NO camping on the main grounds, NO EXCEPTIONS. Day Exhibitors MUST utilise the Queen Street (Main) Gates however you must be on site prior to 9.00am. Upon entry via this gate, turn left and park along the edge of the arena adjacent to Queen and Glenelg Streets. Parking for floats is TIGHT so please park as close to other vehicles as is safe to do so. Parking is to be no further south than the first stable block. No vehicles may enter or exit whilst the show is in progress - this is an insurance requirement. Ground Entry: Exhibitors will be required to pay entry fee at the gate. Members will receive Members passes in the post prior to the show.
