THE ROYAL AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY OF TASMANIA (RAST) ASKS COMPETITORS TO ASSIST IN MAKING SURE THAT ALL AREAS OF SAFETY ARE COVERED. YOUR CO-OPERATION IN THIS AREA WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. 1. Entries will be accepted at the discretion of the Society and no correspondence will be entered into regarding acceptances. 2. The Society reserves the right to alter the programme if necessary. 3. Please ensure that you comply with the rules of the class you are entering. 4. Owners entering their horses/ponies do so entirely at their own risk and it is a condition of entry that no liability of any kind attaches itself to the Society, its Council, Officers, Officials or Members in any respect whatsoever, other than the liability for refund of entry fees in the event of abandonment of any competition. 5. Age of horse or pony is as off the 1st of August. REGISTRATIONS: All exhibits (unless otherwise stated) entered in any class must be registered with a miniature registry / association or the APSB and be owned and handled by a financial member of the registry / association with whom the exhibit is registered. REGISTRATIONS PENDING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

3 REGISTRATION CERTIFICATES: Copies of exhibits registration certificates must accompany entries. Exhibits may be measured on the day to settle height disputes. MHAA, IMHR & AMHS horses must not be over height for age requirements. Exhibitors must abide by the rules of the registry / association of the registration paper supplied with the entry. PRESENTATION: Presentation is to the rules of the registry / association of the registration paper supplied with the entry. SCRATCHINGS: All scratchings prior to the show to be in writing and accompanied by either a Veterinarian s or Doctor s Certificate. If scratching during the period of the show PLEASE inform the marshalling steward. ENTRY FEES: All Entry Fees: RAST members $10 per animal for first class and $5 for additional led classes. Non members $20 per animal for first class and $10 for additional led classes. Performance classes $5.00 per class CODE ON DRUGS AND CRUELTY TO AN EXHIBIT: It is the intention of the Society that all animals shall perform on their merits without the aid of drugs, which may affect their conduct, performance or appearance. Random swabbing may take place. Cruelty to animals is forbidden either in the arena, exercise area or elsewhere. Any person found guilty of an offence will be reported to other Royal Show Societies, and appropriate breed societies. EXHIBITORS ARE ASKED TO REMOVE ALL MANURE FROM PARKING, STABLE AND WORKING AREAS. SCOOPERS AND RUBBISH BINS WILL BE PROVIDED. YOUR CO-OPERATION IS APPRECIATED. One Ring for all classes
