Riders who have ever competed as a team member of any Senior International Team (4* or 5* Nations Cup in the last 10 years, World, European Championships & Olympic Games) are not eligible. Pony Riders, Children, Juniors and Young Riders who have ever competed in Nations Cup/International Team Events and European Championships in the last five years are not eligible (excluding Veterans and Para Teams). First place rosette kindly sponsored by KBIS Insurance Horses / ponies may only compete in one section. British Novice: Entry qualifications: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. a) For Horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 125 points. Four Double Clears will qualify - in accordance with Rule b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2014 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of four years or under in the same calendar year as the British Novice Final - in accordance with Rule Qualifies for: KBIS Insurance British Novice Championship - Second Round. Qualifying period yearly 1st May - 30th April inclusive. Numbers to qualify: Those horses which jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four KBIS Insurance British Novice First Round competitions held in any qualifying period will qualify to compete in and attend four KBIS Insurance British Novice Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A rules (Rule 191). 4 Class 6 - Arena 1 - Connolly's RED MILLS Senior Newcomers - First Round/1.10m Open Rule 312. Single Phase. Speed 325mpm. Start Height 1.10m. In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split and two sets of prize money awarded. Horses / ponies may only compete in one section. Newcomers: (a) For registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 375 points. Four double clears will qualify - in accordance with rule (b) For all registered horses that are six years or under at the year that the final is going to be held, irrespective of points. Horses will be eligible for double clear qualification to attend second rounds providing they reach the age of six years or under in the same calendar year as the Senior Newcomers Final - in accordance with rule Four double clears to qualify. Four double clears will qualify for the Senior Newcomers Second Rounds. Qualifying period 1st June - 31st May inclusive. 1.10m Open: For registered horses ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. All horse/rider combinations eligible for the 1.10m National Amateur First Round will receive dual qualification of double clears, in either section of a Newcomer - first round/1.10m open competition. Held at Senior Category 1 shows only. If combined with an open: In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split with two sets of prize money. Prizes: 1st: 40.00, 2nd: 30.00, 3rd: 20.00, 4th: 18.00, 5th: Entry Fee = Class 7 - Arena 1 - National 1.15m Members Cup Qualifier Rule 294. Single Phase. Speed 350mpm. Start Height 1.15m. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Open to registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members who are not listed on the British Showjumping Gold League as of 31st March Qualifies for: British Showjumping National Championships. Qualification period: 1st June-31st May. Numbers to qualify: Four double clears (subject to revision). Qualification is horse/rider combination. Prizes: 1st: 50.00, 2nd: 40.00, 3rd: 25.00, 4th: 20.00, 5th: Entry Fee = Entries confined to registered horses in accordance with British Showjumping Rule 79. In event of insufficient entries prize money will be awarded in accordance with British Showjumping rule 76.6 and British Showjumping rule applies Junior members competing on horses are only able to do so from the beginning of the calendar year which the age of 12 years is reached. 1.Hats to current BSI standard must be worn and fastened at all times when mounted. 2. Appropriate competition dress should be worn by all competitors. 3. Liability the organisers or anyone acting on their behalf accept no liability whatsoever for loss injury, or damage to any animal, property, persons, or vehicle how so ever caused. 4. Objections must be handed in to the secretary in writing, within half an hour of the event, together with a deposit of 20. The deposit will be forfeited if the show officials decide the objection is not sustained. 5. The management reserve the right to refuse an entry without giving reason and to cancel alter the time of any class, also to run any class in another ring. 6. The management reserve the right to limit the entries in any class. 7. All prize money must be collected on the day of the show or they will be forfeited. 8. Competitors having entered a class are not entitled to a refund or to transfer any entries to another date once the class has started, should they decide to withdraw for any reason. 9. The judges, stewards, Myerscough College Staff and official helpers decision s are final. 10. Strictly no lungeing. Any horse/pony in the collecting ring must be in a bridle. 11. Horses should not be left unattended when tethered. 12. Children must be kept under close supervision at all times. 13. Only competitors in the class taking place may use the practice fence. 14. DO NOT MUCK OUT boxes/trailers on the parking area. 15. Allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible as owner, lessee, authorised agent, or rider to attend a show, compete or be prepared to compete, in any showjumping competition without taking adequate precautions to ensure other horse/ponies, competitors and members of the pubic are not put at risk of injury. All Classes will be in International Arena 80m x 30m, with warming up in Indoor Arena 65m x 21m. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times, Refreshments available, Spectators Welcome
