Remember me? I hope this finds you well. I just got word that WTDP is peddling their confusing yellow cards to police depts. statewide and the maybe the State Police as well. Some are accepting them in an "oh yeah, sure" moment. But if some PD's are accepting them and using them it

4 could be cause for confusion and concern at traffic stops where the Deaf person has the Green Envelope and presents that. As y'all have taught me, you want to reduce confusion and angst at traffic stops not increase it. WTDP doesn't have authorization and perhaps they think a new administration is in so they can push the cards again to unsuspecting PD's. Can you kindly a blanket note to your membership and PD departments telling them that the yellows are not sanctioned by the CPCA or the Dept. of Transportation? WTDP is such a devious group. We're still fighting them as they continue to cause chaos in the Deaf community. Thanks for reading this , Keith. LEGISLATIVE Chiefs, Here is the Judiciary bill dealing with the driving impairment aspect of legalized marijuana, HB The public hearing will be next Friday, March 22nd at 10 a.m. in the Judiciary Committee. Jean Chiefs, This is the companion Judiciary Committee bill on the erasure of marijuana convictions and other offenses related to legalized marijuana. The public hearing will be before the Judiciary Committee next Friday, March 22nd at 10 a.m. in Room 2C. Jean

As discussed, the National Mobilization Connect-to-Disconnect (C2D) effort is scheduled for April 11, C2D Enforcement Initiative April 11, 2019 Time: 4-hour enforcement period determined by the participating law enforcement agency (recommended time frame 2:00 6:00 PM) Let me know if I can be of any more assistance. Law Enforcement Training (POST Credits): (Sponsored by RING) Developing and Conducting Effective Training using PowerDMS DLG Learning Center and PowerDMS partner to meet the legal standards to develop effective training. Attorney Eric Daigle (videotaped) will review legal standards applicable to meeting legal training requirements. Bryan Giguere will demonstrate how to use PowerDMS to conduct effective training. He will also show how agencies can use technology to develop training programs, track officer training and store critical content, such as school maps and hazard plans. He ll demonstrate how technology empowers agencies to be operationally effective. Go straight, under second underpass and take left at car wash onto Old Turnpike Road. At first stop sign, take right onto Mulberry Street. Aqua Turf Club is located 1/2 mile on the right. I-84 West From Hartford - Take Exit 29 (left-hand exit). At the end of the exit will be a light. Go straight onto Mulberry Street. Go approximately one mile down the road. Aqua Turf will be on your right. From I-91 or the Merritt Parkway - Take Route 691 West toward Waterbury, take Exit 4 (Southington), take a right. At the bottom of the hill (McDonald's on the corner), take a right onto South End Road. Follow until you come to Mulberry Street on the left. The Aqua Turf is on Mulberry Street approximately 1/4 mile on the left.
