5 SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR A SERIES CONDUCTED IN HEATS, SEMI FINALS AND A FINAL Any series conducted in Heats, Semi s and s (excluding Breeders Classics and Maiden Thousand) shall be conducted in accordance with the conditions defined in the Feature Race Conditions for the event, subject to the following: Number of Heats Semi s 7 or more or or In the event of insufficient nominations to conduct at least 3 Heats with at least 7 eligible nominations in each heat then no Heats will be conducted with 2 Semi s and a being conducted on the dates advertised for the Semi s and provided there are at least 7 eligible nominations for each Semi. The fields for the Semi s shall be selected from the nominations received for the Heats. If Semi s are not conducted then a only will be conducted on the date advertised for the provided there are at least 7 eligible nominations. The number of Heats scheduled for each series shall be the maximum number of Heats to be conducted. The number of Heats to be conducted shall be reduced in accordance with the number of eligible nominations received as per the Heats/ Nominations table. SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR A FEATURE EVENT CONDUCTED WITHOUT HEATS Any Feature Event scheduled to be conducted without Heats shall only be conducted provided there are at least 7 eligible nominations unless Tasracing, in exceptional circumstances, grants approval for the event to be conducted with fewer eligible nominations. HEATS/NOMINATIONS TABLE Minimum Number of Eligible Nominations Number of Heats STATE AGRA NATIONAL SPRINT CHAMPIONSHIP - The conditions and eligibility for this series shall be determined by AGRA (over 515 metres). Heats with six (6) eligible nominations are permitted to be conducted for this series. STATE AGRA NATIONAL DISTANCE CHAMPIONSHIP - The conditions and eligibility for this series shall be determined by AGRA (over 720 metres). Heats with six (6) eligible nominations are permitted to be conducted for this series. LUXBET YOUNG STAR CLASSIC - A best series restricted to greyhounds whelped on or after 1/8/2014 to be conducted in Heats and a over 461 EBONY MINDA STRAIGHT TRACK 720 TASBRED BONUS SERIES 7 L.G.R.C bred Grade 5 (sprint) greyhounds at Launceton to be conducted in Heats and a over 515 of the first three placegetters in the. NOEL VINCE MEMORIAL - over 461 RICHARD STAMFORD PERPETUAL STAKES 720 GEORGE & EILEEN JOHNSTON PUPPY CHAMPIONSHIP - A best series restricted to greyhounds whelped on or after 1/9/2014 to be conducted in Heats and a over 452 conducted with the first two placegetters in each Heat qualifying for the. BOTTLEY GREEN MEMORIAL MAIDEN A best 8 race restricted to Maiden greyhounds over the age of 2 years to be conducted over 461 STEVE KING LADIES BRACELET - A best series restricted to bitches to be conducted in Heats and a over 515 HOBART TASMANIAN BREEDERS CLASSIC - A series for Tasmanian bred greyhounds whelped on or after 1/9/2014 to be conducted in Qualifying Heats, Semi s and a over non-penalty Qualifying Heats shall be conducted provided there are 33 or more the Series. The first two placegetters in each Qualifying Heat shall qualify for the Semi s (4) and then the first two placegetters in each Semi shall qualify for the. Should there be fewer than 33 the Series then Qualifying Heats will not be conducted and the greyhounds nominated shall be deemed nominated for the Semi s. In this case there will be sufficient Semi s conducted to cater for all eligible nominations. In the case of the Breeder being a disqualified or warned off person at the time a breeders bonus for this series is won the bonus will be forfeited. In the case of a partnership then only the percentage of the bonus which is payable to the disqualified or warned off breeder shall be forfeited. A greyhound which has won a of a Breeders Classic Series is not eligible to compete in this series. HOTELS MIDDLE DISTANCE CHAMPIONSHIP - A best series restricted to Grade 5 and Grade 4 (mid distance) greyhounds at Launceston to be conducted in Heats and a over 600 It is anticipated 2 Heats will be conducted with the first four placegetters in each Heat qualifying for the. TASBRED BONUS SERIES 8 N.W.G.R.C bred Grade 6 (sprint) greyhounds at Devonport to be conducted in Heats and a over 452 of the first three placegetters in the. SIMONS CARPET ONE GOLD COLLAR - bred greyhounds whelped on or after 1/11/2014 to be conducted in Heats and a over 515 FREIGHT CONNECTIONS CHRISTMAS GIFT - A best series to be conducted in Heats and a over 452 metres which is restricted to greyhounds which meet the following criteria:- 1) A greyhound that is grade 4 or 5 (sprint) at Devonport and no higher than grade 4 (sprint) at either Hobart or Launceston 2) A greyhound which was whelped prior to 1/12/2014.
