3 Dear Regional Competitors, KDA would like to invite you to join us for a fun and exciting Fall Classic and Region 2 Championship Show this October at the Kentucky Horse Park. We are very excited to host our second Regional Championships at the Kentucky Horse Park, the same complex as the 2010 WEG. KDA had such a wonderful time hosting Regionals in 2012 and are pleased to announce a few changes to this year s KDA Fall Classic and Region 2 Championships. All horses will be stabled in barns, no tent stabling. Additional practice areas will be available in the Walnut Arena and Walnut Annex. The Paso Fino Championships will not be during our show. We feel all of these changes are big improvements for our show. We still have many great social events planned, a Welcome Dinner on Thursday, the Vendor Progressive Party on Friday and our Competitors Party Saturday during the Freestyle Championships. Regional championship classes will be held in the Rolex Arena and Dressage Complex to accommodate 5 championship rings. We will hold all Training and Second Level Championship classes (excluding freestyles) in the Dressage Complex and may need to move additional championship classes to the Dressage Complex if entries warrant. On Thursday, the first day of the KDA Fall Classic, we will offer a practice day of classes in the Rolex Arena for all the championship levels running in the Rolex Arena during Regionals. The practice classes will be the highest class of each level and each horse and rider combination is limited to one class to accommodate everyone. Full details and explanations are listed in the prize list. KDA is working very hard to make this a memorable, exciting and safe show for all. Please check our website and Facebook page regularly for updates. Thanks to all competitors who support KDA. We look forward to seeing you at regionals. Sincerely, Sincerely, Sheila Woerth Show Chairman Michelle Morehead President Kentucky Dressage Association Horse Shows 3
