Before the registration deadline, (1) print out and complete the registration form found at highland.edu/lifelong, enclose your personal check for payment and mail to: Highland Community College, c/o Admission, 2998 W. Pearl City Rd., Freeport, IL or (2) fax the registration form to and admissions staff will call you to process your payment via credit card over the phone, or (3) register by visiting the Admissions Office on the second floor of the Student/Conference Center on the Highland campus and make payment in person. Learn how use your energy, posture and body position to help your relationship and training of the horse. Learn easy self fixes for the rider to become totally balanced and centered on the horse. A great class for anyone wanting to upgrade their lesson program or develop one. Helmets are available. These techniques can be used to train any horse to focus on the handler and be calmer. 5 Lifelong Learning at Highland Community College Beginning this fall, Highland Community College is reinvigorating its Community Education program under the new name, Lifelong Learning. The goal of the new program is to offer both credit and non-credit courses throughout Highland s fourcounty district, delivering learning opportunities that range from personal and professional enrichment, to certification preparation, to youth activities. The vision of HCC s Lifelong Learning is to serve all populations including business professionals, community members, seniors, and the region s young people.
