2 RULES 1. The Organisers/Land Owners will not be responsible for any damage to property, accident or loss to either horse or handler/rider 2. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entries 3. Any objections must be made in writing within 30 minutes of the end of the class with a 10 deposit 4. Hard hats must be worn when mounted 5. Judges decision is final 6. No galloping outside the rings. Access to rings by way of designated Horse Walks only 7. Judges ride at their discretion 8. Local is defined as 10 mile radius of Tavistock (Map in Secretary s box) 9. The organisers reserve the right to change Judges, Stewards and times without prior notice 10. No refunds will be offered on classes paid for, but we are happy to transfer entry to other classes if there is a potential clash. A refund maybe considered depending on reason, but is at discretion of entries team. The teams will be timed from the first rider leaving the start box to the last rider crossing the start/finish line. Riders must pass a baton within the starting box and carry the baton throughout their jumping round. If the baton is dropped whilst a rider is competing, they must dismount and retrieve the baton to complete their round. If the baton is dropped within the start box it can be picked up by any member of the team. Each rider is allowed 3 refusals, before they must be rescued by the next team member. The rider being rescued must go back to the start box, hand over the baton to be rescued and the rescue rider must start the course from the refusal fence and go on to complete the course before passing back over the starting line to begin their round. Any poles knocked down will incur time penalties to be added to the teams overall time. The teams will be placed according to time. The rules will be explained fully on the day.
