1 Club Rules 2015 Schedule Lanes Garden Centre and Open Farm on Breaston Lane, Risley, Derby DE72 3TT All shows in 2015 will be held as Open Shows- combinations must compete in the same class at four different shows to be eligible for the end of year presentation awards This Show is affiliated with: First Aid Fee= 2 per competitor (per show) Cricklands, Championships of Great Britain Equine Sports UK (ESUK) 2015 Amateur Showing Society UK Riders Challenge 2015 MIDARC Summer Championship & Sunshine Tour Equestrian Life Equifest The Sunshine Tour Unaffiliated Championships Bluechip North West Showing Championships PLUS OLYMPIA ANTHONY EVANS SSADL HOME PRODUCED FIRST ROUND QUALIFIER ND MARCH 22 nd March 29 th March- showjumping show 10 th May 7 th June- summer extravaganza 12 th July 9 th August 27 th September 11 th October Saturday 28 th November- Presentation Night 1. All persons attending this show do so at their own risk. The organisers/landowner cannot accept any responsibility for any loss or injury to any person/animal or property how so ever caused. 2. Judges decisions is final. 3. All riders under 18 years of age mast have fastened current British Standard Riding hats and appropriate footwear, No trainers whilst mounted, all exhibitors must be suitably dressed, including showing animal s in-hand. If you are aged 18 and over and would like to wear a Beagler/Bowler/Top Hat you do so at your own risk. WE STRONGLY ADVISE AND PREFER that all persons wear a correctly strapped British standard hat, you will NOT be penalised for this in any classes, in all including In-hand classes under the age of 18 must wear a British standard riding hat. In all ridden /WH Equestrian Life es hard hats must be worn. 4. You may wear a body protector IN ANY CLASS without being penalised. 5. Where the Height or age of a horse/pony is disputed, the competitor will be asked to produce the relevant certificate. 6. No person under 16 year of age to wear spurs, spurs may not be worn in M & M Ridden, Veteran or Handy Pony. Anyone misusing spurs in the judge s opinion will be disqualified. 7. Any objection must be handed to the secretary with 15 minutes of the event with a deposit of 15 which will be forfeited if the objection is overruled by the appropriate procedure. 8. The organisers reserve the right to limit or cancel classes or refuse entry if time and/or conditions dictate. If there are less than 4 entries in a class, organises reserve the right to amalgamate or cancel that class. 9. Anyone who conduct themselves inappropriately to judges, officials, spectators or their animals will be requested to leave the show ground or venue immediately. We reserve the right to request any persons to leave if their behaviour is not appropriate. Inappropriate behaviour will result in a ban from competing at ALL LERC show events in the future. The judge s decision in Final 10. Any Horse/Pony may have more than one rider provided that the combinations do not compete in the same class. The name of the horse/pony must stay the same for all its riders. Handy Pony classes count as one class 11. Lead rein es: Children to be 9years and under as of the 1st January in current year. Must be in snaffle bridle and lead rein attached to the nose band. Lead rein handler must over the age of 16. Pony not to exceed 12.2 on the lead rein. 12. Lead rein competitors can only compete on in lead rein classes. 13. IN THE INTEREST OF SAFETY RIDERS ARE ASKED NOT TO TROT, CANTER or GALLOP IN THE SPECTATOR AREAS. ANY OFFENDERS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE SHOW GROUND 14. If a competitor called by the judge will normally be given two minutes to present themselves, otherwise the class will proceed without them, unless the judge is otherwise informed. The organisers cannot be held responsible for classes which clash 15. Lame or unfit horses/ponies will be asked to retire from events 16. No horse/pony under 4years of age is to compete in any ridden class. 17. Handlers of colts or Stallions MUST be over 16years old. 18. All dogs must be kept on leads and cleaned up after, anyone found to let a dog foul and not clear it up will be banned from LERC, dog faeces is a hazard and highly unpleasant. 19. Any questions or quires are to be put in writing and addressed to the club secretary which can then be discussed/resolved at the next club meeting. Qualifiers 2015 22 nd March & 10 th May- The two highest placed exhibits not already qualified will qualify for the relevant Equifest Championship to be held at the East of England Showground

All shows- The three highest placed exhibits not already qualified will qualify for the Amateur Showing Society Summer Championships to be held at Houghton Hall Equestrian Centre on the 29 th

All Shows- All double clears in qualifying classes and dressage scores greater than 60% will qualify for the David Broome Jumping and Dressage Winter League and Championships.

Midarc Summer Championship All shows- In all Ridden Showing, In Hand Showing & Working Hunter es, Qualifiers may be presented to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd competitors. The 2 highest placed eligible exhibits in this class will qualify for the below: EQUIFEST IN HAND RIDING PONIES 22 Coloured- Open in Hand Piebald / Skewbald stallion, mare, colt, filly or gelding, any age. NO SPURS, NO GALLOPING, NO WEARING OF FACE/BODY JEWELLERY IN HAND CLASSES MINIMUM AGE OF HANDLER =9YRS STALLIONS- EITHER IN HAND OR RIDDEN COMPETITORS MUST BE OVER THE AGE OF 16 YEARS. COMPETITORS CANNOT ENTER THE RING ONCE THE COMMAND OF TROT HAS BEEN GIVEN.THE SAME RIDER/HANDLER/PONY/HORSE COMBINATION MUST STAY THE SAME FROM FIRST /SECOND ROUND QUALFIERS AND GRAND FINAL. ALL COMPETITORS SHOULD AQUAINT THEMSELVES WITH SSADL RULES BEFORE ENTERING PRIZE CARDS WILL BE AWARDED TO 1ST TO 6 TH IN EACH CLASS 6 Qualification cards will be handed out in the ring at the time of presentation. The Olympia Anthony Evans SSADL First Round Qualifiers are open to both Affiliated and Unaffiliated members of the Senior Showing & Dressage Ltd. SSADL Rulebook can be found at NEXT STAGE SECOND ROUND QUALFIERS You can only compete in the Olympia Anthony Evans SSADL Second Round Qualifiers, if you are a 2015 member and your animal is registered with SSAD Ltd and hold the 2015 membership/registration card. Once you have qualified at a First Round Qualifier and you have received an Acceptance card, only then may you compete in the Olympia Anthony Evans Second Round Qualifiers.
