3 EVALUATION OF ELEMENTARY NOISE Some concepts IMPACTS Sound Exposure : ; Sound Exposure Level (SEL) : We have two ways: deterministic and fuzzy evaluation Deterministic evaluation of noise impact If and are two sets, where : set of aircraft types allowed on arrival route r : set of aircraft types allowed on departure route m, then for each feasible triplet an elementary sound exposure level (expressed in db) is computed.
