2 MAUNAWILI FARMS DRESSAGE SCHOOLING SHOW and SYMPOSIUM 11 MARCH am Sunday JUDGE: RUTH SINCLAIR This Schooling Show/Symposium highlights the ART OF DRESSAGE in english, western and pony club riding. Musicals, pairs, quadrilles and drill team presentations are eligible for special recognition. Try something new, change something old, ride a different horse, go western/go english. Have fun, be safe, come and ride. SCHOOLING SHOW FORMAT SYMPOSIUM FORMAT SCHOOLING SHOW FORMAT Rider to present one test of their choice for a score. Rider receives a scoresheet with comments and a percentage at the end of the show. Schooling show entries LIMITED to about 15 rides or 2 hours. SYMPOSIUM FORMAT Rider to present one test of their choice for a score. At the end of the test, Miss Sinclair will critique your performance, suggest ways to improve your score and/or problem solve training methods. Riders are encouraged to interact with the judge during the critique. HOWEVER, unlike a symposium the audience will NOT be allowed to comment or ask questions. Symposium clinic including test ride is limited to 20 minutes. A time keeper will keep time. USDF/ASDS SHOWS I,II are at Maunawili Farms in April School your horse for the upcoming season! Dressage tests are available@wdaa 2017 Western Dressage Association of America or USDF 2018 United States Dressage Federation. United States Pony Club Dressage D and C Level tests are available on the USPC website. PC tests should be ridden from memory. Pony clubbers are encouraged to wear their club polo shirts, pins and medical bands.
