We have booked the entire Clarion Hotel Energy in Stavanger. Clarion Hotel Energy is our official hotel for the event and all official registration, meetings and Sayonara party will take place here, only a 5 minutes walk from the sports center. 7 Information about payment The fees for participation must be paid no later than March, 09, otherwise your registration will st not be considered. Each country is allowed to send maximum 6 referees. Only referees with a JKA Europe or JKA World Federation C-license and above are accepted. All referees have to wear, dark blue blazer, white shirt, dark grey pants and official JKA tie. Dress code for participants A competitor wears an all plain white karate uniform. Sleeves of the jacket length should be at least ½ of the forearm but no longer than the wrist, and folding of the cuffs is not permitted; however if folded inward, that fold must be sown; the length of the top, after the belt is tied, is up to half of the thigh females must wear a plain white t-shirt under the top 6 length of the pants must be / of the calf down from the knee but no longer than the top part of the ankle, and folding of the cuffs is not permitted; however if folded inward, that fold must be sown. Safety Equipment:. Gloves for the hands (Hirota or Shureido). A transparent mouth guard. A chest protector. All as recognized by the JKA. Other matters Officially appointed tournament medical team will be present to administer first aid should this be necessary. The medical team hold the decision-making authority to decide if any injured contestant can continue in the event or should withdraw. Furthermore, each contestant must carry certain health insurance and is responsible for his/her own health care and will have no claims to the tournament medical team.
