2 Passing The Test: Getting Your Alabama Driver s License A visual presentation of the written material presented in the Alabama Driver Manual aids in the preparation for taking the written test. Practice tests administered at the end of the session give participants a chance to see how well they have absorbed and retained the material. Led by the Lee County Literacy Coalition. 4 State of Alabama Special Olympics Games May 18th - 20th at Troy University CONGRATULATIONS to all of our athletes who were selected to represent Lee County in Athletics, Aquatics, Bowling, and Golf. There are 55 athletes representing Lee County this year! We wish you the best of luck! Let me win, but if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt. Therapeutic Programs Therapeutic Summer Camp Summer Camp applications are now available! Applications must be turned in by 5pm on Friday, May 4th, This year camp will focus on life skills, creative expression, and educational opportunities. Bingo & Fitness Join us for some exercise and bingo! Win prizes and enjoy refreshments with friends. 5:30-7pm on Wednesday, May 2nd and Wednesday, May 9th at. Join us on May 9th for an end-of-season PARTY! Therapeutic Game Night Join us for board games, video games, cards, and coloring! 5 ACEing Autism at Auburn University This is a fun summer program for children with Autism and is FREE for all participants! Yarbrough Tennis Center 777 South Yarbrough Farms, Auburn, AL July 9th - August 1st There are two sessions: Session 1 is from 4-5pm (ages 9-12) Session 2 is from 5:15-6:15pm (ages 13-18) This program is brought to you FREE of charge by the generous support of East Alabama Medical Center and the School of Kinesiology. 8 Financial Literacy Workshop Get control of your finances by learning the basics of tracking your spending, creating a budget, managing credit and debt, planning for retirement and investing, and other financial topics. The workshop consists of two sessions that are two hours each and are normally presented on consecutive days. Led by the Lee Count Literacy Coalition. FREE to public.
