5 Survey Description 7 page survey Methodology took approximately 20 minutes to complete asked many of the same questions from 2008 and 2010 Method of Administration by phone random sample of residents living in the City Sample size: 400 completed surveys Confidence level: 95% Margin of error: +/- 4.9% overall 5

6 The City of Rolla is Moving in the Right Direction The City of Rolla is Setting the Standard for Service Delivery Compared to Other Cities In order to continue moving in the right direction, the City of Rolla may wish to emphasize improvements in the following areas: Maintenance of streets, buildings and facilities Flow of traffic and congestion management Enforcement of city codes and ordinances 6

44 The City of Rolla Continues to Move in the Right Direction Satisfaction ratings improved or stayed the same in 53 of 58 services rated in both 2008 and 2013 Satisfaction ratings improved or stayed the same in 47 of 69 services rated in both 2010 and 2013 The City of Rolla is Setting the Standard for Service Delivery Compared to Other Kansas/Missouri and U.S. Cities Rolla rated at or above the U.S. average in ALL 48 areas assessed and at or above the Kansas/Missouri Average in 46 of the 48 areas assessed In order to continue moving in the right iht direction, the City of Rolla may wish to emphasize improvements in two major areas: Maintenance of streets, buildings and facilities Flow of traffic and congestion management Enforcement of city codes and ordinances 44
