4 1.3 Website Rules The event will be conducted in accordance with the rules set out in the Canadian Cadet Movement Biathlon Championship Series (CCMBCS) Rulebook. 2. LOGISTICS 2.1 ACCOMMODATIONS AND MEALS Accomodation for all participant will be at building 504 and 515. Lunches and dinners will be served in the kitchen at CSTC Valcartier, CC119. Bag lunches will be provided at the Myriam Bédard Biathlon Centre. 5 2.2 WAXING ROOM A waxing room will be available at the Myriam Bédard Centre for all teams. Each team must bring its own waxing equipment, including waxing irons and benches. The teams must make sure the waxing room is clean before they leave. BIATHLON CENTRES CUBICULES (WAXING ROOM) Saguenay / Lac St-Jean 21 and 22 Montreal 19 and 20 Quebec City 16 and 18 Lower St. Lawrence and Gaspé 14 and 15 Eastern Townships 9 and 10 Mauricie 7 and 8 Ottawa Valley 5 and 6 Abitibi 3 and The keys to the cubicles will be handed out on Friday night upon arrival. Cubicles 11 and 23 will be allocated to the site coordinator. Cubicles 1, 2, 12, 13, 23 and 24 are not available. 2.3 ARRIVAL The arrival procedure for the participants is as follows: a. Buses from each region must go to building 504 or 515 depending in which building the participants from each center are located. b. All participants must unload their personal luggage and skis at their assigned dormitory and rooms. Dormitories are shown in the maps annexed to this document. c. Once all the personal luggage has been placed in the dormitories, everyone must go at the front desk of each of their building 504 or 515 to complete their registration. d. The rifles and bolts must be taken to building 515 and given to Lt Michel Gasseau. e. Competing cadets must bring their health insurance card or a copy of it and report to the competition secretary, in 504 or 515. f. The cadet officials equipment will be issued at building 515 by Lt Arsenault.

7 2.4 CADET OFFICIALS The cadet officials will receive their equipment, parka and mukluks on Friday night in bldg 515. The person in charge of the cadet officials will confirm the schedule and give them the latest information. On Saturday morning, the cadet officials must get up at 6:00 am. The buses will leave at 6:30 for the kitchen and back at bldg. 515 at 7:15. The departure for the biathlon center will be at 8:00 am. All of the cadet officials must have their equipment with them. Equipment of Cadet Officials is to be returned on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 pm in bldg COMPETITION PERSONNEL All adult personnel who will be acting as officials must arrive at the Biathlon Centre by 8:00 am to meet with their section heads. Personnel who need equipment must go to waxing room 11 or at the chalet Myriam Bedard at local 106 at 8:30 am. 2.6 DEPARTURE PROCEDURE SUNDAY AFTERNOON All participants must follow these procedures: Before to leave the competition site Sunday, all rifles and bolts must be cleaned. After the competition, each center must cleaned the rifles and bring them at waxing room 2. Each center must sent three (3) cadets at the vault at the Myriam Bedard building to cleaned the bolts of their center. Waxing rooms must be cleaned before leaving the site. An officer will be in charge to give the authorization for the departure of the bus. Everyone must tidy up their dormitory before the medal presentations. Each coaches from each centre will be responsible in the dormitories to make sure they are left clean and tidy before the cadets departure. - Luggage must be placed in the buses. - Blankets must be folded and laid across the foot of each bed. - Sheets must be folded and placed in the gray bin in the janitor s room. - Wastebaskets must be empty and clean. - Modules B, C and D must be swept. - The bathrooms must be clean. The buses will wait in the bldg. 511 parking area during the medal presentations. Each participant must take a bag lunch after the medal presentations.
8 2.7 BIATHLON CENTRES' EQUIPMENT Each biathlon centre must bring the following equipment: - all the rifles loaned to them - all the magazines - speed bracelets - telescopes and tripods - waxing equipment: wax, irons, benches, etc - skis for the cadets

Range: prone position 1 to 30, allocation of firing points for each biathlon centre. Penalty loop for each target missed. Mandatory 3 extra rounds if targets were not hit. The metal targets will be set for 115 cm. Magazines are authorized for this competition. The coach must place the magazine on the ammunition tray. The actual courses will be chosen depending on snow and other environmental conditions. The profiles of the selected trails will be distributed at the coaches meeting.
