2 At the 2 nd Coordination Meeting, the following 4 th Games-related matters were discussed: - AISGOC Marketing Commission plan. - I.S.S.F General Secretariat plan for the Games marketing. - Sports listed in Games final program. - Date of sending the Initial Entry Form to the member NOCs. - Games Participation Fees for the member NOCs. - Number of teams participating in team sports and qualification standards for individual sports. - AISGOC advertising plan for the Games inside and outside Azerbaijan. They also has met with His Excellency Mr. Azad Rahimov, Minister of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan, who confirmed that the AISGOC is exerting great efforts to organize this Games and also expressed his strong desire that all Islamic countries participate is this Games. AISGOC Ceremony for the Islamic NOCs in Rio Olympics On August 7 th, 2016, the Azerbaijan Islamic Solidarity Games Operations Committee (AISGOC) invited the Islamic Olympic Committees and sport officials in the Muslim world to attend a ceremony of the th Islamic Solidarity Games in the city of Rio de Janeiro during the occasion of the Rio 2016 Olympics, in the presence of Col. Hamad Kalkaba Malboum, I.S.S.F 1 st Vice President on behalf of the His Royal Highness Prince Abdullah Bin Mosaad Bin Abdulaziz, I.S.S.F President. His Excellency Mr. Azad Rahimov, Minister of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan welcomed the NOCs delegates. In this ceremony, they made an audio visual presentation on the preparations of the AISGOC for organizing and hosting the Games. Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation P a g e 2

3 I.S.S.F participation in the 29 th ICECS Jeddah - Saudi Arabia July 23 rd 25 th, 2016 Based on the invitation sent by the General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (I.S.S.F) to attend the meetings of the thirty-ninth session of the Islamic Commission for Economic, Cultural, and Social Affairs (ICECS), held in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on July 23rd 25th, 2016, Mr. Khalid Abdullah Abdulaziz Bin Alshaykh I.S.S.F Director General and Mr. Ashraf Sayed Abdel Latif Head of I.S.S.F Technical Affairs have attended and represented the I.S.S.F in these meetings. During the meeting, the draft resolutions on cultural, social and family affairs, including resolutions concerning OIC affiliated organizations which include the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation, have been reviewed. Furthermore, the draft resolutions submitted for the forty-third session of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM), scheduled in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent, on October 18 th -19 th, 2016, have been reviewed. 4 Delegation of the I.S.S.F General Secretariat meets with the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) officials On Monday, July 25 th, 2016, a coordination meeting between the delegation of the I.S.S.F General Secretariat and the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) officials was held, in the presence of Mr. Khalid Abdullah Abdulaziz Bin Alshaykh I.S.S.F Director General, Mr. Ashraf Sayed Abdel Latif Head of I.S.S.F Technical Affairs Dr. Abdul Hakim Allowaar Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Mr. Ahmed Fawzi and Mr. Abdul Basit Ahmed at the headquarters of the OIC General Secretariat. They discussed ways to implement the proposal of the I.S.S.F President for signing a memorandum of understanding between the I.S.S.F and the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), for the purpose of serving the I.S.S.F objectives and developing its financial resources to serve the youth in the Muslim world, as well as the IDB's role in supporting the Islamic Solidarity Games for the participation of all Islamic countries. They also discussed ways to support some of the I.S.S.F requirements and needs for preparing a sport strategy in the Islamic countries. Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation P a g e 4
