6 he Closing Ceremony: he closing ceremony was held on Wednesday ept.7, 06 and all delegations who participated in the championship took part in the closing ceremony. It was also attended by: Mr. Khaled Mhalhell (the President of Weightlifting Federation of Africa, Mr. Abdullah armal (Vice President of Weightlifting Federation of Asia), Mr. Mohamed aloud (ecretary General of the Weightlifting Federation of Asia), Mr. Manareddin El hely (ecretary General of Weightlifting Federation of Africa), Mr. Ibrahim Harb (President of Weightlifting Federation of ordan) & Mr. Khaled Bin Abdullah bin Al heikh (representative of IF at the closing ceremony). 7 he nd meeting of the workshop of Baku Islamic olidarity Games he meeting was held between the General ecretariat of I...F and the Organizing Committee of Baku Islamic olidarity Games in Baku, Azerbaijan during on 0- eptember, 06. Prior to their meeting, the location of new cite of the Organizing Committee was visited. However, the items discussed in regard to the Games in Baku were as following: - he countries participating in the Games in Baku. - o refer to holding the Islamic olidarity Games in Baku in the meetings of OIC and during other events and activities. - V Broadcasting 4- Accommodation and Living 5- echnical issues 6- Advertisements and Mascot 7- Marketing and ponsorship 8- Protocol and Opening & Closing Ceremonies 9- pecial dates and future meetings However, upon the conclusion of a/m meeting, another meeting was held with His Excellency Minister Azad Rahimof in his office and he was acquainted with all the discussed in the workshop meeting and in response thereon he expressed his appreciation of the efforts exerted by all persons in charge and an emphasis was made to ensure keeping in touch with all Islamic Countries to urge them to participate in the Games. 8 rd preparatory meeting of the Islamic Ministerial Conference of Youth and ports Ministers he rd preparatory meeting of the Islamic Ministerial Conference of Youth and ports Ministers was held in Istanbul, urkey on ept.9, 06. Representatives of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Ministry of Youth and port in urkey, I...F and Islamic Conference Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation have discussed all following subjects in relation to holding the above mentioned Ministerial Conference.. he Ministerial Conference will be held during 4-8 October, 06.. here will be a video presentation of Baku Islamic Games by His Excellency the Minister of Youth and port in Azerbaijan.. A speech, a report, and the strategy of work of I...F will be delivered during the Conference for 5 minutes as per the schedule attached. 4. A necessary system has been laid out to for the decisions to be taken by I...F. 5. A decision has been made to organize the 5th Islamic olidarity Games in urkey in 0. he Ministry of Youth and port in urkey and I...F were urged to coordinate to ensure good organization of the Games. 6. All attendants were impressed with the strategy adopted by I...F to develop sport in the Islamic Countries for the coming era Invitations and offers forwarded by the Ministry of Youth and port at the hosting country to the member countries were duly viewed as well as offers of the hotels to accommodate official delegations and visitors. 8. he Ministry of Youth and port will issue air tickets for countries to encourage the participation of all Islamic Countries in the Games. 9 he coordination meeting with the ecretary Generals of the Regional /Area Federations he General ecretariat of IF was represented by Mr. Khaled Ibn Al heikh (the IF manager) and Mr. Ashraf ayed (the official in charge of technical affairs at the IF. he meeting was held on ept., 06 on the occasion of the 4 th IF weightlifting championships. he meeting was attended by the ecretary General of the Weightlifting Federation of Asia Mr. Mohamed aloud, the ecretary General of the Weightlifting Federation of Europe Mr. Hassan Akoush, the ecretary General of Weightlifting of Africa Manareddin Eshelly. It was agreed that the Regional/Area Federations should coordinate to hold annual championships for weightlifting for their Federation Members. It was recommended that the financial resources available at the richer countries as well as the technical experience of the more developed countries should be utilized to publicize this sport in their continents. However, a draft of the agreement and understanding was put, and will be duly presented during the next meeting. It was also agreed to coordinate with the International Weightlifting Federation to support the training courses and training camps that will be held on the occasion of championships of the federation. It was also agreed that the championships shall be organized every four years after arranging with the Federation Members. Islamic olidarity ports Federation P a g e 9

10 Honoring Mr. Kazi Rajib Uddin Ahmed Chapol Her Excellency heikha Hnasina granted Mr. Qadi Chapol National ports Award the Mr. Chapol who is the Executive Board Member of the Islamic olidarity ports Federation, ecretary General of the Bangladesh Archery Federation, Member of both Asian and World Archery Federations has been granted the National ports Award by Her Excellency heikha Hnasina the Prime Minister in Bangladesh.in appreciation of the long and exceptional services he has rendered to sport in his country.
