5 II. Competition Information 1. Date &Venue The Asia Rowing Cup II will be held from 26 th to 30 th of June 2018, at the Tangeum Lake Rowing Venue, Chungju, KOREA. 2. Distance 7 lanes x 2000m regatta course 3. Events The Asia Rowing Cup II events will be 22 Events Men (Open): M1x, M2x, M4x, M2-, M8+ Women (Open): Men (Lightweight): Women (Lightweight): W1x, W2x, W4x, W2-, LM1x, LM2x, LM4- LW1x, LW2x, LW4x Para-rowing : PR1(W1x, M1x), PR2( Mix2x, W1x, M1x) The group are as bellows, PR3 (Mix4+, Mix2x) Group A: W1x, M1x, W2x, M2x, W2-, M2- LW4x, LM4-, PR1 (W1x, M1x), PR3(Mix 2x, Mix 4+). Group B: LW1x, LM1x, LW2x, LM2x, W4x, M4x, M8+, PR2(W1x, M1x, Mix 2x) 4. Rules and Regulations 1)The competition will be conducted in accordance with the FISA Rules of Racing 2) All races will be conducted on a six-lanes course. If less than six crews are 5

6 entered in one event, it will be held as preliminary round and Final. If there are more than six crews entered, heats and repecharge(s) will be held. 3) An event with less than three entries may be cancelled. 5. Eligibility The 2018 Asian Cup II is open to all ARF members and its Affiliates Clubs. They may enter more than one crew in each boat class. 6. Entries 1) Preliminary Entry should be submitted to the O.C by 25 th of March * Para preliminary entry is on 30 th of April ) Final Entry should be submitted to the O.C by 25 th of May ) Withdrawals of events will be accepted by AM1200 hours (Korea time) on 24 th of June *Please keep the entry schedule carefully. 7. National Flag and National Anthem National Anthem will be played at Award Ceremony for all events 9. Boats and Equipment 1) All boats and other equipment must comply with FISA Rules of Racing. 2) Participating teams will be encouraged to bring their own boats and oars if possible.official boat supplier, Swift Racing, will provide boats for participants if they are unable to bring own material. 6

7 3) If you do not bring own boats, you should contact Mr. Tim from the Swift Racing for your boat rental by 25 th Mar Boats and Oars Rental will be only provided to NFs requesting boats and oars rental to Swift Racing. After this date, there is no guarantee of boat availability. 4) Contact person : Mr. Tim, timyang@swiftinternational.biz 5)The boat rental charges are as follows (USD / during the championships): - Single scull (1x) $250 - Double scull / Pair (2x / 2-) $350 - Quadruple Scull / Pour(4x/4-) $450 - Eight(8+) $600 *O.C will provide all participants with Para-rowing boats on free. 10. Oars rental The O.C don t afford to provide oars and NFs should bring own oars or NFs can rent Oars from SWIFT directly *Contact person : Mr. Tim, timyang@swiftinternational.biz 11. Bike rental The O.C will provide bikes and the charges are USD 10 / per day 12. Accommodation and Meals Athletes and coaches will be accommodated at the C.C hotel, it is approximately 5 km from the venue. Cost of accommodation including 3 meals is USD 90 for twin beds in a room per person per day and USD 110 for single room per person per day. Incheon Airport Chungjucity, takes about 2.5 hours 7

8 Note: 1) All accommodation bookings must be made through the Organizing Committee. It should be submitted by 4 th May ) Any change or cancellation must be immediately reported to OC in writing (rowing@sports.or.kr). The notice of cancellation should be made by 10 th May Transportation The O.C will arrange local transportation and other necessary preparations. Teams are advised to arrive in Incheon International Airport on 22 th June 2018 and to depart on 1 st July Note: The cost of transportation from the Incheon International Airport to the official hotel in Chungju is 50 USD/person (Round Trip) 14. Accreditation All participants in the 2018 Asian Rowing Cup II will received an accreditation card on arrival at the venue. Teams are required to send the photographs of all officials and athletes to rowing@sports.or.kr. before 25th May Umpires The Umpires for the 2018 Asian Rowing Cup II will be appointed by the ARF Umpiring Committee. OC will provide free Board &Lodging for the ARF Umpires Only. 16. VISA If you need an invitation for VISA, please contact us as soon as possible. 17. Appeals All appeals shall be dealt with in accordance with the FISA Rules. 18. Uniform During the competition, rowers attending in the 2018 AC II must wear the official competition uniform of their Clubs / National Federation. 19. Weather The past average weather conditions in Chungju are as follows, 8
