Safety monitoring devices for competition classes 1-17 Saturday 3.3. from 9.00 at Rally Office. classes Saturady 3.3. within documentation check DO NOT USE CABLE TIEs for assembly, use only Velcro, which comes with device. Transponders: All rally cars will be equiped with timekeeping transponders. Classes 1-17 Thursday or Friday within documentation check in Rally Office. Classes on Saturday 3.3 within documentation check Transponder need to be assembled close to inner mirror, in top are of windscreen with cable tie or velcro sticker Competitor is responsible of assembly. Return of devices Turvaseurantalaitteiden sekä Ajanottotranspondereiden palautus: Both devices will be collected back in rally finish, on Saturday. Valid for all classes In case of retirement, equiment needs to be returned to Rally Office or, give to Organizers PURKU -car, which drives the route after last competitor. If transponder is not returned or if it is broken, fee is 150.

7 IMPORTANT DURING EVENT EVENT AND SERVICE Start Rally start is located in Joensuu city center, Passenger Port area, address Rantakatu 2, JOENSUU. Star time is 10:01, with interval of 1 minute. There is no Park Fermé area in the start, but please arrive to start area 5-15 minutes before your own start time (not earlier, area is quite small) List of competitors allowed to start, is published in notice board 3.3. at 8.00, and it will be updated after every 30 minutes. Time Card will be given to competitor in start (AT / TC 0) Retirement In case of retirement, competitor must inform that as soon as possible by phone. Phone number is in Time Card and Road Book. Also information can be given to closest TC. TIME CARDS There will be two (2) time cards. Distribution Time Card 1 TC 0/ Start Time Card 2 TC 3D Collected back Service TC 3C TC/ Finish SERVICE PARK AND MAINTENANCE Access and leaving service park is done through time control stations (TC) There is one service park in rally. Also after SS 4, there is remote service. Everywhere else only drivers can do repairing, with tools which are in rally car. SERVICE BREAK SERVICE TIME = 30 min so called Flex-service RE-GROUPING: MAX 33 MINUTES, MIN 3 MINUTES + SERVICE TIME 30 MINUTES Re-grouping time is spent in own place in service park. Time when service can be started is shown in sticker in rally cars windscreen Service Park opens on Friday 2.3 at No access before that. Organizer will reserve area to every competitor, according Finnish Rally Championshio regulations. Note: No guarding in night time.

8 Only one service car allowed. Organizer will give a service car sticker HUOLTOAUTO. That sticker, with cars register number, needs to be placed to service car, and has to be visible during whole event. Organizer will control service park area. Smoking allowed only in marked areas (shown in map). REMOTE SERVICE Remote service area is after Special Stage 4 (SS4) in gas station, service time is 15 minutes, tthat is included in road section time. Max length of service car there is 8 metres. Area is quite small, please arrive max 10 minutes before competitor (follow from GPS tracking) Distance from SS 4 finish to remote service is app. 4 km. RESTAURANT in Rally Office Restaurant is located in Rally Office. Coffee, drinks, breakfast and lunch buffet Kisaravintola palvelee kilpailukeskuksessa, tarjolla normaalit kahviotuotteet ja rallimakkaraa. Lunch buffet on Saturday , with price of only 10 You can also make a pre-order (recommended) for your team, then price is only 8. also invoice possible. After finish TC there is re-grouping area and competitors who will be rewarded with trophies are driving forward to podium. Podium is same place where start, Joensuu Passenger Port, Rantakatu 2, JOENSUU In Podium drivers will receive trophies and they are photographed. INFORMATION FOR RECONNAISSANCE RECONNAISSANCE Reconnaissance starts on Friday at 7.30 and ends on Friday 2.3. at 18:00. It is allowed to drive special stages 2 times. During recce period all marks and signs which are in Road Book are also in Special Stages. (temporary marks and signs) During recce organizer will control competitor s speeds and also that each SS is driven max two times. Control by GPS

12 SAFETY INSPECTION When entering to Safety Inspection, competitor numbers needs to installed to rally car. Enter only with normal road tyres. Rally tyres not allowed. Classes 1-17 Competitor needs to reserve scrutineering time from Slot- system. For detailed information, see Bulletin no:1 Due to date Monday , latest at In Safety Inspection all security equipment which will be used in event are checked. (Including HANS / FHR ) In Safety Inspection competitor or his represantive needs to present: AKK:n myöntämä katsastuskortti (ei ulkomaisen kilpailijan ulkomaille rekisteröidystä autosta) Homologation documents Roll gage homologation or certificate (if applicable) Register ID and Finnish traffic insurance document (this can be bought on Thu- Fri at Itä- Suomen Katsastuskeskus, address Aspitie 9, Joensuu (see map), more info, please contact CRO) For fluent process, please be ready in check-in 10minutes before your pre- reserved time. There no separate TC, document check time is relevant. Scrutineering template is given to competitor after document check. After accepted scrutineering, organizer will store document Safety Inspection for classes 1-17 is on Friday according pre-reserved times and closes at SEALING Competitors needs to prepare turbo and restrictors (throttle) ready for measurement. Also sealing wires needs to be placed in advance. After measurement is sealing, and documented to Scrutineer table. DRIVERS EQUIPMENT Are checked in separate place according this pre-reserved time.

13 TYRE MARKINGS (classes 1-6) In Classes 1-6 maximum amount of tyres is 10. Competitor need to deliver list of tyres with FIA bar codes, what will be used in event. Please find the document template as attachment of this document. If there is not FIA code in tyre, please contact Scrutineer Chief Mr. Timo Brilli, phone (or CRO) latest on Friday 2.3. He will give information what to do.
