World championship in enduro with the Swedish Armed Trophy. 27th and 28th of October GETTING HERE Place: Tofta Skjutfält It will be signs all the way from Visby harbor to the competition area. Starting point Visby harbor: Drive along färjeleden (road 142) and take the first exit in the roundabout to road 140, Tofta. Continue driving about 7,7 km and turn right in Västerhejde into Ygne. Ygne will close at 8.30 a.m. on and we refer after that to Tjaut entry. From there follow the signs to competition area. 2. ARRIVAL Upon arrival to the competition area, please sign in at the check-in. You must show your license and provide your starting number, no one will start without a license. There you will get your envelop with your number and 1 service card for your service personal which gives access to the refueling trail. Your transponder is given to you separately at the check in, remember to turn it back. Access to the event area is permitted from 6:00 a.m. on. The race ticket attached in the must be brought and visible in your car. NOTE! Write your name and start number on your ticket. Each driver is permitted to bring 1 service personal and one car. If you are more than that, everyone over 12 years old must buy an entry ticket. Buy your tickets in advance. Extra tickets are purchased most easily on our website Check-in open hours: 27/10 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (only riders in youth class) 27/10 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 28/10 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. NOTE! Youth class on : Riders in this class need to show a signed parental declaration signed by the parent or guardian. Print attached document föräldraförsäkran and take it with you to the check in. 3. INSPECTION To the inspection you shall bring your transponder that is given to you at the check in. This means that you cannot inspect before check-in. The obligatory inspection of the MC will control that you have the correct starting number and the right color on the number plate of the class you re in. The number plate and the transponder must be mounted before the inspection. A first aid kit should be carried during the race. Note that studded tires are not allowed. Inspection open hours: 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at. 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Bring to inspection: Helmet, mouth or face guard, and the transponder. For everyone to have time to inspect their MC and equipment you shall immediately after check-in, head to the inspection. Important! Maximum Sound Level! The sound level is measured according to the method 2 feet max; the maximum sound level is 112 db (A). The sound check is located after inspection and all riders must sound check. 2 Youth GGN 1 Youth E White Black 2 Youth E White Black 4. DEPOT/EVENT AREA The speed limit is MAXIMUM 10 km/h. To facilitate and make more room in the depots, we are advocating people who are in the same team to use the same service vehicle. Note that RV s are not permitted. Because of many drivers this year we will refer to depot 2 when depot 1 is full. 5. BEFORE THE START YOUTH: Class 1 and 2 will be divided in depot 30 minutes before driving together to start. Follow the signs to Start from event area. VETERAN: Follow the signs to Start from event area. You need to be in place 20 minutes before start. Follow the signs to "Start" from the event area. The speed limit to start is MAXIMUM 30 km/h. The start area is open from 7.30 a.m. Please respect our staff and follow this regulation. The staff will need the time to get ready. You have your number and line already so no need to hurry. In the start drivers gather in the marked lines that is south of the starting location. All drivers must take place 30 minutes before each start. If you re not in time you will be placed in last line. The start is open from a.m. for class 1, 2, 3 and START Start Youth GGN: Warm-up of engines is allowed until the sign saying, "stop engine" is shown. 3 7. THE TRACKS : For Youth and Veteran the track is about 8 km, with one refueling track close to laps and finish. The driving time is for Youth is 2 hours and for Veteran it is 1 hour. Average speed is about 40km/h. The course is divided into 5 sections. : The track is a about 22 km, with two refueling tracks (one for class 1-3 close to laps/finish and one close to the event area for motion classes). The driving time is 3 hours. Average speed is about 40km/h. The course is divided into 21 sections. Motorcycle staff are patrolling around the track and they also have radio connection with the competition directors. If you drive through the plastic bands you have to pass into the same section. Otherwise, you risk being excluded. Especially fueling signs are marked adjacent to the depot. Along the track there are controls checking the time from your transponders. The publication of the track is made on race day at 8:00 a.m. at the check in. Respect each other in the competition and show some consideration. If someone falls and get hurt don t hesitate to help. Next time it could be you out there in need of help. NOTE! It s not allowed to be cycling the track by bike before the race! YELLOW FLAG (still and waving) - Immediate danger, be prepared to stop. - Overtaking of another driver is forbidden until the object has passed. No jumping. 8. REFUELING TRAIL Refueling trail is marked with "Refueling Trail Begins" and "Refueling Trail ends". The trail begins with a stairwell to each numbered fuel trap and finished with a distance back to the track. The speed of the refueling circuit is limited to the maximum 10km/h. Refueling take place in the respective fold with the engine off. NOTE absorbing environmental protection (ECO Carpet) to guard against waste must be used. Prohibition of smoking and lightning of fires! It s allowed to change MC parts during the race. You cannot replace the entire units such as frame, engine, etc. This area is the only place permitted to get foreign help, thus no service after the track. The refueling trail is only permitted area for drivers and mechanics. You are responsible for your space. Make sure it s left clean. Washing the motorcycle in the depot area is not allowed! Refueling trail is watched by staff and crimes against the above rules will be punished with an additional time or exclusion of the competitor. Only drivers and service personal with visible service card are allowed in the refueling area. All fuel and smoking in the refueling circuit is prohibited! If service personal breaks the rules the contestants can be punished with additional time or disqualification. NOTE! ECO carpet should be taken home after the competition or thrown into special container at a collection point. Following refueling trail should be used : Refueling trail below event area next to laps/finish. : Class 4-12 using same as before, the one located next to depot/event area. Class 1-3 using the one below depot/event area next to laps/finish. NOTE! Two obligatory refueling stops in class 1-3. Logging will occur at the entry and exit of the refueling trail. 9. HEALTHCARE First aid trained staff will be placed along the track patrolling drivers that has radio communication with the medical center. The medical center (See map) has a race doctor and ambulance. At the event area, there is a medical tent with paramedics and ambulance vehicles. NOTE! Depot area are located with paramedics: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

4 10. FINISH When crossed the finish line you need to cut off your transponder and return it to the check in tent and in return you will get your GGN medal. Class 1, 2, 3 and 4 gets help with removing the transponder after finish line. If you must interrupt the race you still have to return the responder in the check in tent. If you don t return the responder you will be charge 1250 SEK and you can t race next year if you don t pay. The overall winner, 2nd and 3rd place shall immediately proceed to the press area close to finish line. The results will be listed in the tent in the event area after the race is finished and will also be published on the website. "Protest must be filed within 30 minutes after the results lists are allocated." It is every driver's responsibility to monitor their results as above. Results will also be posted at Wisby Strand about 7:00 p.m. 11. AWARD CEREMONY Award ceremony will be held for Youth on the main stage at Wisby Strand on 27/10, 6.00 p.m. With a following taco buffet. Trophies can be retrieved in the info desk on Wisby Strand from 5 p.m. Ticket for the buffet can be bought in advance on the website or in Wisby Strands reception. Award ceremony will be held for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd total winner for ladies and men at Tofta approx. 3:30 p.m. directly after the competitors have finished. They also need to be on the second award ceremony on Wisby Strand in the evening. The other Award Ceremony in all classes placed 1-3 will take place at Wisby Strand at 7:00 p.m. This year first with the award ceremony and then a seated buffet (ticket claim). If you only want to see the award ceremony and don t eat it s okay to stand in the bar. There are only 600 seats to the buffet so by your tickets in time. Afterwards you can buy your ticket to the live gig with Björn Rosenström and the after party with a DJ. The tickets are purchased through the website or in Wisby strands reception on from 7:00. p.m. and from 3:00. p.m. THE DIPLOMA: You can save and print your diploma from the result list on our website. Search for your name and click on the PDF TROPHIES : All drivers in Youth class receives a trophy and can get it from Wisby strand, latest at 9 p.m. : Drivers who placed 1-3 gets trophy on stage. The others can pick theirs on Wisby Strand from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Trophy to following place Class Trophy to place 1 Elite Elite, ladies Senior Junior Motion Motion Motion Motion Ladies Military Veteran Older Veteran Modern Motion SWEDISH ENDURO CLASSICS If you manage to race in Stångebroslaget, Ränneslätt and Gotland Grand National during the same year and managed to pass everyone s criterion you will automatically receive the medal. The criteria for Gotland Grand National is 3 laps for motion classes and 4 laps for class 1-3. See more on the website

ENVIRONMENT MEMO Gotland Grand National is certified as an environmentally arrangement, therefore it is of great importance that all participants and service personal to pay extra attention to the environment in all respects. Drivers/mechanic s has to consider All waste is taken primarily about yourselves, sorted and carried for recycling. If this is not possible, there is waste sorting and recycling stations placed in the depot and refueling track. All servicing and refueling, both in the depot and refueling track has to take place on an absorbent protection (ECO carpet according SVEMOS regulations) with utmost care. All polluting events such as oil waste, shall be immediately reported to the staff. All unnecessary transportation within and from/to the area shall be avoided. All used equipment must be disassembled, if necessary, such as spikes into trees and similar will be removed, and the area you used has to be restored in the same condition as when you arrived All other off-road, driving on the track during the race, are crimes against the road teams. 14. ADDITIONAL During and there is exhibition and different kind of sales and a food court in the event area. We provide showers and sauna at Kallbadhuset in Visby, next to Wisby Strand. Opening hours: p.m. and 12:00-6:00 p.m. Promotion points are not paid in this contest. Take note of the maps that are included, they are for you to locate right from the beginning. Note that the driver and others has separate access to the roads. On the map to the competition area, you will see how the track looks like, the depot etc. Is there any doubt, please contact the information in the event tent. NOTE! 4-wheel motorcycles, pit bikes are forbidden to drive on the competition area without special permission from the arrangers. All drivers are obliged to inform their service personal about the info in this memo.
