The Broadcast Team: Jon Meterparel and Malcolm Huckaby will call all the Boston College basketball action during the season. This will mark the pair s first season together with the Eagles. Meterparel, who also serves as the play-byplay voice for Boston College football, joined the Dennis and Callahan morning show on WEEI in Prior to that, he had worked at WFNZ radio in Charlotte, NC for nearly three years. A native of Weston, Mass., Meterparel also also worked with the Triple A Charlotte Knights (baseball), UNC Charlotte (basketball color analyst) and New England Revolution (soccer). Huckaby is no stranger to BC basketball fans. He starred for the Eagles from , finishing his 126-game career with 1,316 points. He currently ranks 18th on BC s career scorng list. Huckaby also ranks fourth on the career three-point field goals list, having sank 199 treys in his brilliant four-year career. All-ACC Reggie Jackson and Joe Trapani both gained All-ACC honors. Jackson earned first-team recognition, while Trapani captured third-team honors for the second consecutive season. Jackson was joined on the first team by Nolan Smith and Kyle Singler (Duke), Jordan Williams (Maryland) and Malcolm Delaney (Virginia Tech). Honored Eagles: Jackson is the fourth different Boston College player to earn All-ACC first-team honors since 2006 (joining Craig Smith, Jared Dudley and Tyrese Rice). Only Duke (with seven) has had as many or more different players earned first-team honors in this same period. The Series against Northwestern Tonight s game will the fifth-ever meeting between the Eagles and the Wildcats. BC has a 2-2 mark in these games. In the teams last contest, on Dec. 23, 1998, Northwestern earned a home win over the Eagles... Exactly one year earlier, BC gained a home victory... The teams also met during the (Northwestern win) and the (BC win) seasons. ACC Preseason Selection Boston College, which finished in a three-way tie for fourth place, was picked to finish 10th in the ACC Preseason Poll. The preseason poll was based on the vote of 62 ballots cast by media representatives from around the conference. Duke was selected to finish first, followed by Virginia Tech, North Carolina and NC State. Joe Trapani Joe Trapani finished the 16-game conference slate ranked among ACC leaders in rebounding (sixth, 8.3) and in scoring (13th, 14.1)... The senior forward has recorded four point-rebound double-doubles this season -- at Florida State, at Duke, against North Carolina and against Miami... Trapani scored a season-high 25 points and grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds (nine offensive) against the Tar Heels (Feb. 1). John Cahill John Cahill is undoubtedly one of the best stories in college basketball this season. The 6-foot-1-inch senior joined the team as a walk-on prior to the season. He has played in 24 games this season. Most remarkably, he has earned a spot in the starting line-up for the last six games... In fact, Cahill s playing time has increased substantially over the last nine games. In this stretch, the Albany, N.Y., product has averaged 27.1 minutes per game. Career High: In the Eagles game at Virginia Tech on March 1, Cahill posted a career-high 12 points on 2-for-2 shooting from long range and 6-for-6 shooting from the foul line. He also equaled his career high with five rebounds. He did all this in 33 minutes, two minutes shy of his career high (set one game earlier at Virginia). A True Student-Athlete: John Cahill was selected to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Men s Basketball Team. To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career. Cahill is a senior, majoring in economics.

He has a record as the Eagles head coach and a career record... Donahue spent the last 10 seasons as the head coach at Cornell. He led the Big Red to three consecutive Ivy League titles ( ) and a trip to the 2010 NCAA Sweet 16. During his tenure, Donahue totaled a record. Cornell achieved the best Ivy record over the last five years (55-15)... He coached and/or recruited seven of Cornell s top 13 all-time leading scorers, two Ivy League Rookie of the Year players, eight NABC All-District selections, six Academic All-District picks and two Academic All-Americans... Prior to assuming the head coaching job at Cornell, Donahue spent 10 seasons as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for Fran Dunphy at the University of Pennsylvania. Coach of the Year: Steve Donahue received the 2010 Clair Bee Coach of the Year honor after leading Cornell to a 29-5 overall record, the Ivy League title and the NCAA Tournament s Sweet 16. Reggie Jackson Junior Reggie Jackson ranked among ACC leaders in seven categories (conference games only): scoring (fourth, 18.1 ppg), field-goal percentage (seventh,.471), assists (third, 4.3), free-throw percentage (second,.870), three-point fieldgoal percentage (sixth,.398), three-point field goals made (ninth, 2.1) and minutes played (tied-eighth, 33.3). On the Mark: Jackson is shooting 50.8 percent from the field this season (all games), ranking him third among all ACC players... He has made at least half his shots in 19 games this season. All-District Choice, All-District Choice: Jackson earned USBWA All-District I honors and NABC All-District 2 honors. The USBWA s District I is composed of the six New England states, while the NABC s District 2 is composed of the 12 ACC schools... National Jesuit Player of the Week: Jackson earned National Jesuit Player of the Week honors for his efforts against Clemson and Maryland (Feb. 8 and 12). He was selected from among the 28 Jesuit schools in the United States. ACC Honoree: Jackson earned ACC Player of the Week honors twice this season. He was first honored on Dec. 13 for his play against Providence and Maryland. He averaged 21.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game in the two contests... On Jan. 17, he shared Player of the Week honors (with Florida State s Chris Singleton) after averaging 25.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.0 blocked shots per game in games against NC State and Miami. Old Spice Classic: Jackson earned All-Tournament honors at the Old Spice Classic after averaging 16.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game in three games. Corey Raji Senior Corey Raji, who averaged 13.4 points and 6.8 rebounds in 16 ACC games, finished the league schedule ranked among league leaders in rebounding (tied-10th, 6.8) and scoring (15th, 13.4)... Raji totaled 11 points, nine rebounds and two assists in 28 minutes in the Eagles win at Maryland (Dec. 12). The senior scored the game s final six points to lift BC to a road win*... Raji registered a season-high 22 points, nine rebounds and two assists in a home win over Georgia Tech (Jan. 8), and 18 points at Duke (Jan. 27)... He posted 17 points (7-for-10 FG) and eight rebounds at Virginia (Feb. 26), and tallied 19 points and 12 rebounds at Virginia Tech (March 1)... Biko Paris Senior guard Biko Paris ranked among ACC leaders -- in conference games -- in four categories -- assist-turnover ratio (sixth, 2.3), assists (ninth, 3.7), three-point field-goal percentage (seventh,.386) and three-point field goals made (sixth, 2.1)... Paris has scored in double figures 16 times in 32 games this season, surpassing the number of times he d reached double digits in his first three years (13 times in 96 games)... He has made 73 three-pointers (on 175 attempts) this season, more than doubling the three-point total of his first three seasons (36 made on 121 attempts)... Paris enjoyed a career day in the Eagles win at Maryland (Dec. 12). He scored a career-high 22 points, hitting a career-high eight field goals, including six three-point field goals.
