2 GIRLS 1&2 GRADE The North Central Soccer Association (NCSA) is a recreational league with about 2,000 players. Local soccer organizations in Argos, Bremen, Culver, Fulton County, LaVille, Plymouth, and Starke County comprise the membership of the NCSA. Concessions are located in the Argos Ag Building between the main entrance and the school fields. Hot dogs, sausage, sport drinks, water & pop, along with other items, are also available. Restrooms are available at two locations in the Argos Community Park, the new Argos HS Varsity restrooms, the south side of the Ag Building, and portable toilets. Please check in at the scorer s tent if you know of someone who could use some assistance getting to or from a sideline. Playing on fields 4&5 on the school grounds. No coaches on the field. We hope your child enjoyed a great recreational soccer season and is ready for the challenge of this tournament. As guests of the Argos Community Schools and the Argos Park, please note the following guidelines: No alcohol is allowed. Please do not bring pets to the s. ACS is a smoke-free facility, therefore, help us honor school rules by not using tobacco products anywhere on school grounds. TOURNAMENT RULES Unruly fans will be asked to leave the premises. Fans & teams must use the designated areas Regular season rules apply, except Grades 1&2 teams play only one at a time and the coaches are not on the field. All coaches need to check in at least 30 minutes prior to their first to confirm schedules and submit a team roster. All players must be on a current NCSA roster and may play on only one tournament team. After the end of the, the winning coach should report the score to the director s tent within 15 minutes. TOURNAMENT SCORING A team will receive 3 points for a win plus 1 point for each goal scored up to 3 goals. Maximum points per : 6 A team will receive 1 point for a tie plus 1 point for each goal scored up to 3 goals. Maximum points per : 4 A team will receive 0 points for a loss plus 1 point for each goal scored up to 3 goals. Maximum points per : 3 The team with the most points in each division (or pool) will be determined to be the division winner. In the case of a tie, the winner of the pool will be determined first by head-to-head competition, and second by fewest goals allowed. If the pool is still tied after these tie-breakers, co-champions will be declared. Teams that play four s will have their points multiplied by 0.75 to determine a three total. Page 10 Page 3
