3 Georgia District 4 Little League Little League Baseball, Softball and Challenger Linda North, District Administrator cell linda@northptc.com July 24, 2016 Dear Managers and Coaches, Congratulations on representing your district in the Georgia State Little League Baseball Tournament. We are pleased to have Peachtree City Little League as our 2016 host and trust you will enjoy your stay in Peachtree City. The facilities at Peachtree City are excellent. The staff will take care of your needs and the concession stand offers a variety of ball park food. Please come prepared to the Managers Briefing Friday afternoon at 4 pm. Have all your tournament paperwork in order and your pitching affidavit from your district tournament filled in and signed. You will turn that it at the Manager s Briefing and will get it back before your first game. We look forward to some exciting games. It is a credit to your dedication and time that you have taught your players to work together, play together and hopefully to laugh together in a relatively short span of time. However the tournament ends for your team, the memories of this experience will stay with your players for years to come. The scoreboard will reflect scores, but ultimately only one team will become the Georgia State Champion. Our Little League State Champion will represent Georgia at the Southeast Regional Tournament in Warner Robins, beginning August 4. Win or lose, every one of these players is a winner and a champion. These young men should come away from these games with the winning attitude that they played their best and had fun. We look forward to working with each of you throughout the tournament. 7 TOURNAMENT FACILITIES All tournament games will be played at Peachtree City Athletic Complex (PAC Fields). PAC fields are located at 1125 Hwy 74 S, Peachtree City, GA The facility is owned and operated by Peachtree City Recreation Department, but is the home facility of Peachtree City Little League. Parking $5 per day (3 complimentary passes for coaches) There are batting cages available for the use on a first come, first serve basis, but please use one cage, per team etiquette. There are additoinal fields for practices located at the PAC fields. Please coordinate practice times with Jeff White, Tournament Director. Concessions and restrooms are available at the PAC Fields. No alcoholic beverages or tobacco products are allowed at the fields. No profanity, fighting or littering. No pets on fields. Pets must be on a leash. Bleachers are provided but chairs are welcome. Shade is limited, so tents are acceptable. Only coaches listed on roster are allowed on field and in dugouts. Photography is acceptable, as long as flash doesn t interfere with play. Coolers will be provided in each dugout during games. MEDIA All tournament games will be video live streaming. Instructions on viewing live video streaming games will be given out during the Welcome Banquet. ON PREMISE MEDICAL TENT Drayer Physical Therapy will have a tent set up on premise to attend to any injuries or medical needs. For each game, Drayer will provide a Certified Sports Trainer.
