At this time, we will take your credentials binder and collect your total tournament fees. We will have a short meeting to review the tournament schedule and rules with the Tournament Director and Umpire Chief. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have at that time. All monies are due at this meeting, checks should be made out to Childersburg Bases Loaded Club. You can write a single check for all fees (Tournament Gate Fee $650, T-Shirt Fee $15 each). We will be serving breakfast to Managers and Coaches. Following the meeting, we will have Opening Ceremonies and ask that all teams regardless of your game time to attend in uniform for introductions. 5 BJ MEEKS SPORTS COMPLEX PARK RULES: 425 Pinecrest Drive Childersburg, AL No coolers, except for one team cooler brought in by a coach, will be allowed inside the park. Water Coolers will be provided in each dugout for teams. No alcoholic beverages are permitted on the property. 2. No outside food may be brought into the park. 3. Pets are not allowed, exceptions are service dogs. 4. No smoking is allowed on city property. The Parking Lot is the only allowable smoking area. 5. No Artificial noisemakers or air horns. 6. PROFANITY WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. YOU WILL BE BANNED FROM THE PARK IF CAUGHT USING PROFANITY TOWARDS COACHES, UMPIRES, AND STAFF. BATTING CAGES: There are two batting cages located beside the high school Field. Teams are permitted to utilize one cage only.

7 Directions From Birmingham: Take 280 towards Childersburg. After you cross the Coosa River, Turn left at the first Red Light (Pizza Hut is on your right). Take hwy 235 approximately 2 miles. Turn right immediately after The Willows Apartments on to Pinecrest Drive. You will see Childersburg Elementary School on your left. The field is just past the elementary school. From Sylacauga: Take 280 towards Childersburg. Turn right at the second Red Light (Pizza Hut will be on your left). Take hwy 235 approximately 2 miles. 9 LOCAL ATTRACTIONS DeSoto Caverns A series of caves and a tourist attraction located in Childersburg, Talladega County, Alabama. Located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, it is touted as "Alabama's Big Cave". In addition to the caves, the park offers various other attractions, including a three-quarter acre maze known as the Lost Trail Maze, panning for gemstones, a climbing wall, and amusement park style rides. While on the caverns tour, visitors can view a sound, light, and water show that changes with the holidays and seasons. 12 TOURNAMENT DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS AND PREPARATION The following documents are required by Babe Ruth League, Inc. of each team before they are eligible to participate in any sanctioned Babe Ruth League, Inc. postseason tournament. 1. Tournament documents are to be placed in a three ring binder in the order listed below. 2. These documents are to be placed in clear plastic, top loading paper savers before being placed in the binder. Page 1: Birth Document** Page 2: Certificate of Insurance (accident and general liability) Page 3: Tournament Roster * Page 4: Letter of League Eligibility Page 5: Medical Releases (4 Copies per Player) Page 6: Pictures (4 5x7 or 8x10 color or black and white) Page 7: Coaches Certification ID Cards or Certificates Page 8: Charter Page 9: Letter of Waivers Page 10: Local League Rosters (tournament team players highlighted) Page 11: Local League Schedule Page 12: Affidavits (to be signed after managers/coaches meeting) Page 13: League Boundaries Page 14: Head Coach & Assistant Coaches Heads Up Concussion Certificate Page 15: Concussion Forms on each player signed by a parent or guardian. **Birth Documents: See Babe Ruth Rule 0.04 paragraph 1- A for a list of acceptable documents. Consent for treatment form on each player. MUST BE FOUR PART FORM PROVIDED BY BABE RUTH LEAGUE, INC. *1. Each player s birth document should be placed in the front of the plastic saver with consent for treatment form in the back or under birth document. They are then placed in the binder in the same order as they are listed on the Tournament Team Roster. Dropping out of the tournament (once committed), Failure to complete a full regulation game, Failure to attend the ice breaker & leaving the tournament early will result in a $300 fine and your league will not be considered to host a state tournament for two years.

14 IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The 10U, 8U and 11U State Tournaments are all being held within 25 miles of each other. You may want to look at Inverness for hotels. Inverness is 20 minutes from Childersburg and has a large selection of hotels, restaurants, and activities. The state is currently replacing a bridge on 280 in Childersburg. Be attentive to lane changes in this area. Also, the speed limit in this area is 35 mph and is STRICTLY enforced. Please tell your parents to be aware of this. Getting a ticket in the construction area is $ when workers are present. There will be a hospitality room located upstairs for Managers, Coaches and your team mother. Please feel free to help yourself. This tournament is being hosted by the Childersburg High School Baseball Bases Loaded Club. High School baseball players and parents will be working the tournament. If you need assistance, anyone in a Childersburg Baseball Shirt will be able to help you or direct you in the right direction. There will be a full concession stand. Please encourage your parents to support the Childersburg High School Baseball Team by purchasing from the concession stand. Also, Snobiz will be on site and a portion of those proceeds go to the High School Baseball Team.
