The tournament will begin on July 14, 2018 and conclude by July 19 th, Attached you will find a Tournament Bracket with game times. The Bracket can also be found at our website caldistrict1.org where results and updates will be made available throughout the tournament. We will also post game updates on the Little League California District 1 Facebook page. Please arrive a minimum of 1 hour prior to game time. A coin toss will take place between the Managers of both teams and the winner of the coin toss will have the option of selecting to be the home or visiting team or they may select their dugout. Please present your affidavits along with your previous tournament Pitch Counts to the Tournament Director. Once the Affidavits are approved you will be granted access to the field and dugouts.

2 The 2018 Little League Tournament Rules Apply and will be enforced. Any Ground Rules will be discussed at the pre-game conference at home plate. All equipment will inspected prior to every game. Any equipment removed from the tournament will be returned once the team exits the tournament. All participants will be expected to adhere to the Northern California Dress Code adopted in Dress Code is attached. We are expecting very warm temperatures so please keep your teams hydrated and we encourage you to have water and sports drinks available. We will have a full Concession Stand on Site. On Saturday the 14 th of July prior to the first game we (District 1) would like to provide all the Managers, Coaches, Players and their families to a BBQ lunch at the ballpark. We will serve lunch from 2:00 to 4:00 in the afternoon. We look forward to seeing you there. We ask that your teams exercise courtesy and clean out the dugouts at the completion of your games. The Tournament will end by 7/19/2017. Sectional Brackets can be found on our website: Dates are in accordance with the LL-Western Region 2018 Tournament Calendar. 2. Game times will be as indicated on the tournament bracket. Teams are to arrive at the field at least one (1) hour prior to game time. The field will be considered neutral and the home team will be determined by a coin toss with the Tournament Director. If the Manager or Coaches are more than ten (10) minutes late (50 Minutes prior to game time) a league representative or parent will act as the representative for the coin toss. District 1 will have a host at the site to assist with all team needs. 3. Upon arriving at the site teams are to present their affidavits to the D1 site administrator. Teams will not be permitted to access the field and/or dugouts until the affidavits have been fully approved. All required team paperwork, along with the LLB Medical Release Forms, will be held daily by the D1 administrator until the end of each game. At the conclusion of each game the teams pitching affidavit will be completed and approved by each Manager. Any errors not corrected by the time the Umpires leave the field will become the official record for that game.

4 4. The winner of the coin toss will have the option of selecting either being the home team or selecting their dugout. 5. The 2018 Tournament Rules including all applicable Little League Rules will be strictly enforced. Ground rules will be discussed at the plate during the pre-game conference. 6. The umpire crew will inspect all playing equipment prior to the start of each game. Any equipment removed from the game will be tagged and returned to the team when the team exits the tournament. 7. There will be no food allowed in the dugouts, no exceptions. Teams are encouraged and allowed to bring water or drinks in containers. 8. Dress Code: Docker or tailored cargo style shorts, long pants or slacks are required. No denim (jean) type pants, Gym style shorts or multicolored striped shorts will be allowed. Solid colored shirts with collars or team jerseys will be required and must be tucked inside the pants or slacks. No open toed shoes will be allowed. Team hats will be required on all managers and coaches. The purpose of the dress code is to insure an acceptable uniform appearance of all participants and to promote a positive role model for the players and the spectators at the tournament site. Anyone not conforming to this dress code will not be allowed on the field or in the dugout. 9. All players when outside the dugout when on offense will have a batting helmet on. The helmet will be worn at all times while out of the dugout, and will not be removed until the player is back into the dugout. 10. As soon as your game is completed, we ask that the teams clean and exit the dugouts immediately so the next team may get settled in the dugout in the event there is another game. 11. 5 TOURNAMENT DRESS CODE LITTLE LEAGUE Following is the dress code in place for all tournaments hosted by California District 1 Little League, including all International Tournaments. 1. Little League Docker type pants, slacks, tailored cargo or hemmed shorts will be required for managers and coaches; no denim type pants or shorts, camo pants or shorts, Cut off or ragged shorts will be allowed. Shorts MUST be no higher than 2 inches above the knees and no lower than the knees. The pants, slacks or shorts must be the same color for the manager and coaches. Collared shirts (no tee shirts) or team jersey will be required and should be tucked in the pants. 2. Little League Patches must be adhered to the left sleeve 3 below shoulder seam of player s uniform. All Players shall be uniformly attired. 2. No open toe shoes or sandals will be allowed. 3. Team hats will be required on the manager and coaches. Any manager or coach who does not conform to the dress code will not be allowed on the playing field before or during the game. 4. Medical exceptions will be handled on a case by case basis. The purpose of the dress code is to insure an acceptable uniform appearance of all participants and to promote a positive role model for the players and spectators at the tournament sites.
