3 1. GENERAL INFORMATION 1.1 Eligibility of Teams and Players : the Masters World Cup is open to any Team of a National Federation affiliated with the WORLD SKATE provided that this National Federation gives permission to attend. Each player has to be born in 1980 or before, and for Veterans Cup each player has to be born in 1973 or before. 1.2 Team Size : Team rosters will consist of a minimum of eight ( 8 ) players plus one ( 1 ) goalkeeper and a maximum of 16 players including 2 goalies. 1.3 Dead Line : The 2018 World Cups are open to the In Line Hockey Teams from all the National Federations affiliated with the WORLD SKATE provided that they confirm their entry prior to : 1 st March Teams must confirm their registration by returning the Application Form (in attach at the present ) to: inlinehockey@worldskate.org ; wurtherle@inlinehokej.cz with cc to: david.ninzatti@hotmail.it All dates are mandatory and the organizer does not have to take the time to react after deadlines! 1) Preliminary application ) Deadline for applications ) 50% deposit on accommodation * ) Payment of the remaining amount for accommodation * The paid deposit will be forfeited to the organizer if the team is canceled in the tournament, regardless of the cancellation date. Communication with only one team representative! 1.4 Nationality of Players: players should be of the same nationality as the Team they are playing for. All participating Team members will be required to prove appropriate nationality and age at the World Cup Meeting prior to the scheduled games, by a valid passport issued from the Country being represented. ID card with mention of nationality will be accepted. 1.5 Referees: Each participating Team should supply a Referee (over 38) able to do the job at a good level, according to the spirit of Masters World Cup. If unable to supply a referee, please inform World Skate In Line Hockey Committee. 1.6 Financial Conditions: each participating Team will be responsible for its own travelling, lodging and living expenses. The entry fee to be paid directly by transfer to: MIHWA (Masters In Line Hockey World Association) is 300,00 (Euro) each team. 4 1.7 Structure of the Masters & Veterans World Cups: will be structured to give the attending Teams maximum games and fun. No more than 2 games/day. Depending on the number of teams, the organization may plan different pools. HOST CITY Host city: Location: PŘEROV, CZECH REPUBLIC Prerov is a statutory town in the Olomouc region, 21 km southeast of Olomouc in Hornomoravský Úval on the Bečva river, about 200 m above sea level and has an area of km². It has approximately 44,000 inhabitants. It is a statutory town since 1 July Until 2002, it was the seat of the district office of the Přerov district. The city is an important traffic junction. It is home to many major industrial enterprises. Přerov was also a military city, where the 23rd Air Force Base of Edvard Beneš was located. In the future, Prerov could be the crossroads of the Danube- Oder-Elbe Canal and one of its main ports (a study on this project is being considered). Part of the historical core of the town (Upper Town) has been an urban conservation area since The former hinterland is referred to as the Lower City. Oficial website: 5

7 Host city: Location: NOVÝ JIČÍN, CZECH REPUBLIC Nový Jičín is a town in the Moravian-Silesian Region, 34 km southwest of Ostrava on the Jicin River. It has about 24,000 inhabitants. It is known especially for its regular square with an arcade and the historic Renaissance house called Old Post, Žerotín Castle and a rich Czech-German history. It also houses the Novojičín Museum. The historical center of the city is an urban conservation area. In 2001, it was declared the Historic City of the Year, and in 2015 the New Town Square was awarded "The Most Beautiful Square in the Czech Republic". The Novojičín Train Station received the award "The Most Beautiful Train Station in the Czech Republic" in the same year. Novy Jicin is home to the famous Tonak company and died here by the famous General Ernst Gideon von Laudon. Oficial website: 7

COMPETITION VENUE Arena: MEO ARENA PŘEROV Petřivalského 5, Přerov At the arena, the HC Zubr Přerov ice hockey team plays the first league of the Czech Republic and operates here including complete youth teams. The IHC NightBirds Přerov club, playing in the Czech Extraliga, also operates in inline ice hockey at the arena, and there are also complete youth teams. Inline Hockey Club Přerov currently has the highest youth base. In the past, the IIHF Ice hockey World Championships, Women U18 in 2012 and 2017, Women in Division I, 2014 took place in the winter stadium. There are regular international hockey tournaments of four countries in the U16, U18, U20 categories. As a place for his camp, Prerov chose teams KHL Chimik and SKA in the past. In 2017 Prerov organized the massive finals of the Czech Republic's youth competitions in inline hockey. The stadium has a size of 60 x 28 meters with a viewing capacity of 3,000 spectators. 10 Arena: ZIMNÍ STADION NOVÝ JIČÍN U Stadionu, Nový Jičín At the stadium, the HC Nový Jičín ice hockey team plays the 2nd league of the Czech Republic and the youth clubs of this club also operate here. The in-line hockey at the stadium is played by the IHC Nový Jičín club, playing in the Czech Extraliga, as well as youth teams. The complex has a sports equipment shop, and massages. The stadium has a size of 60 x 30 meters and a viewing capacity of 2,000 spectators. For inline hockey, Stilmat is used on the stadium. 10

13 7. ACCOMMODATION Přerov and Nový Jičín are regional cities that have long been supporting inline hockey and for this reason they have been selected to organize the tournament. The disadvantage of small towns is that they do not have a large hotel where all the teams can be accommodated and the accommodation of the clubs has to be spread over several smaller hotels. When ordering, communication with the organizing committee is therefore necessary, and it is necessary to take into account that smaller hotels have a small capacity, so in selected hotels the teams will be placed as a priority in order of ordering the hotel.
