We would like to welcome you back for the Second Annual Cutting Edge Genetics Bull Sale. We truly feel that this set of bulls represents the type and kind we are striving to produce.

2 We would like to welcome you back for the Second Annual Cutting Edge Genetics Bull Sale. We truly feel that this set of bulls represents the type and kind we are striving to produce. The group assembled are all big footed, great structured, and are sure to bring added pounds to your weaning pen. Reports are just starting to come in from our customers in last years sale and we are proud to hear that the bulls from last year s sale held their weight through breeding season and are producing an excellent set of calves in their first calf crop. The bulls being offered in this sale have not been pushed for the sale, we simply grow them out to provide our customer a bull who will not fall apart when put out on a set of cows. We have also made a point to cull these bulls hard, culling the lower gaining bulls as well as any bull with structural issues or attitude problems. As breeders we believe it is our duty to provide bulls with the correct set of traits to help improve our customers cow base. As you read through this catalog you will see that these bulls are off the charts in terms of EPD data, and when you get a chance to see these bulls in person we are certain you will see that the numbers line up with the phenotype presented. For this year s offering we will provide a great group of 2 year old bulls who are all trich tested free, an excellent set of yearling bulls, a group of commercial cows including cow/calf pairs, as well as a few select embryo lots. Saturday March 25, 2017 at 5:30 pm DFS Genetics US Hwy 18, McGregor, IA Herd Health All cattle sold will carry health papers for shipment to any where in the continental US. All bred females sold will be pregnancy examined prior to the sale and that information will be included in the supplement sheet. Registrations All cattle sold as registered are registered and transfers will be made shortly after sale weekend. Please let the clerks know how you would like your purchases transferred at settlement time. Bull Care The Cutting Edge Group offer to house and feed all bulls sold for no additional cost until April 30, After this time a $4/day/head feed bill will be assessed. We do ask that you insure your bulls during the time between sale day and your pick up, as the bulls are the buyers responsibility as soon as sold. A $50 discount/head will be given for bulls loaded out sale weekend. All aged bulls will be trich tested, and all bulls will be semen tested prior to sale day. Bull Buying Discounts The Cutting Edge group will give a $100/bull discount to anyone who purchases a minimum of 3 bulls. This discount does not apply to the female portion of the sale.
