As regulars to Nashville Tennesse, the band recorded their latest EP In My Bones at the legendary RCA Studio A. You simply have to see them live! 6

7 FRONTIER DAYS 2017 Saturday, July 1st 8:00PM Grandstand Entertainment AARON GOODVIN One of the benefits of growing up in a small town is that you learn how to make your own entertainment. For country singer Aaron Goodvin, born in the tiny town of Spirit River, Alberta, that meant joining his extended family around the campfire for sing-alongs. Over the years, Aaron built a local reputation as a dynamic performer with a rock solid portfolio of songs. With that success buoying his confidence, he started to make trips down to Nashville to test the waters in country music s Mecca. After signing with publishing powerhouse Warner Chappell Music, Aaron scored his first major league contribution with the track Out Like That on Luke Bryan s multiplatinum Crash My Party. Aaron s versatility and passion for writing and performing is second to none. Aaron has a natural ability to light up a stage, connect with his audience, and deliver a show-stopping performance, whether it s a small intimate gathering or a crowd of thousands. I want to get out there and connect with people through my music. I m a passionate guy who tries to write about real life things that mean something to a lot of people. 7

8 FRONTIER DAYS 2017 Saturday, July 1st 9:30PM Grandstand Entertainment SAWYER BROWN More than 4500 shows and counting. More than a million miles behind them and still seeing the highway miles click by outside their bus window. Twenty-three albums. More than 50 chart singles. CMA, ACM, and CMT awards on the shelf. To pull a line from one of the band s enduring hits: This is the life and times of a travelin band. A traveling band, indeed. Always on the move on the road, on stage, and in their career. When asked about what keeps him motivated on the road, lead singer Mark Miller says, It s playing the next show. Be grateful for where you ve been and be excited about where you re going. The band s live shows are legendary. Having been described as the Rolling Stones of Country Music, the band bounds onto the stage night after night, delivering its own unique brand of high-energy entertainment, and the band remains a perennial favorite at fairs, festivals, theatres, and casinos. That excitement has been on dis-play since the very first time Sawyer Brown stepped foot onstage in the early 1980s. 8

The horse s performance should simulate a horse riding outside confines of an arena and that of a working ranch horse. This class should show the horse s ability to work at a forward, working speed while under control by the rider. Light contact should be rewarded and horse does not have to be shown on a full drape of reins. The overall manners and responsiveness of the horse while performing the maneuver requirements, and the horse s quality of movement are the primary considerations. REQUIREMENTS: a) No horses less than 3 years of age. b) Each horse will work individually, performing both required and optional maneuvers, and scored on the basis of 0 to 100, with 70 denoting an average performance. c) The required maneuvers will include the walk, jog, and lope both directions: and the extended jog and lope at least one direction; as well as stops, turn to change directions, and back. d) Three optional maneuvers may include a side pass, turns of 360 or more, change of lead (simple or flying), walk, job, or lope over a pole(s); or some reasonable combination of maneuvers that would be reasonable for a ranch horse to perform. e) The maneuvers may be arranged in various combinations with final approval by the judge. f) The overall cadence and performance of the gaits with an emphasis on forward movement, free-flowing, and ground covering for all gaits. Transitions should be performed where designated, with smoothness and responsiveness. g) No time limit. h) One of the suggested 4 patterns may be used, however a judge may utilize a different pattern as long as all required maneuvers are included plus 3 or more optional maneuvers are included. i) Failure to perform a required maneuver will result in a horse placing below all other horses that perform all maneuvers.
