2 1. Commodore to the ESC fleet Dear fellow skippers; Thank you for choosing your boats in just 2 days. Everyone crossed the rabbit line. We will now inform the Charter Agency in order to provide you with your charter contracts. You will get your contracts directly from SARRES-SCHOCKEMOEHLE, from a nice lady called Claudia! Claudia will help us to make it comfortable for us. If there are any concerns about your contract, let us know! 3 2. ESC 2018 Area & Time of Sailing The ESC will be held in the... Saronic Gulf / Greece on May 12 th until May 19 th 2018 Why Saronic Gulf? It s new for ESC flotilla and it s the place where the idea of our predecessor the ECC was born during the so-called Brezerl Regatta. It s a place worse thanking the Greek Gods and our go(o)d Arno for this beautiful event we sail now since several years, the ECC for 25 years and the ESC for 10 years. The motto of our sailing next year will be Sailing. Tomorrow. Together. 2

Tickets 5,- per person are bought from the kiosk outside airport arrivals There is no super market in or near the marina. You can either order a provisioning list in advance (on extra charge of Euro 10,-) or use the private provisioning service in the marina. Finally, if there is an organized transfer we can arrange a shopping stop on extra charge. Contact us for more information. It is important we are informed of your arrival details. Our staff will wait for you until sunset. If your arrival is later than this you will board alone, finding the keys on the chart table of the yacht. Check-in procedures will take place the following morning. 3

The Boats of One Design Bavaria 46 Cruiser (4 cabins, 3 heads) from ): price Gennaker (with blogs): Price 210 (to be paid locally; deposit 500 ), but it is not sure we get them, because Nomicos must rent them, and it is not sure the Gennaker are identical. Outborder 80 and final cleaning 100 to be paid locally WLAN with SIM cart: 2GB für 50, 5GB für 70 (local payment). 6. Insurances / Payments Deposit /Yacht (Deposit Insurance by each skipper; i.e. Yacht Pool: 290 ) Payment Guarantee Sicherungsschein provided by charter agency with signing contract Payment conditions: 20% with booking / 30% on Dec. 1 st 2017 / 50 % till April 12 th 2018 of yacht charter price to the Charter Agency. 4

Agreement and Disclaimer Form ESC 2018 Agreement and Disclaimer Form In consideration of being given the opportunity to participate in the Engineering Sailing Cup 2018 ( ESC 2018 ) I, for myself as the skipper ( Skipper ) of the yacht entered under my name in the ESC 2018 ( Yacht ) and on behalf of my personal representatives, assigns and heirs, hereby acknowledge and agree that: (1) Acceptance of Responsibility and Indemnity (a) Sailing activities involve risks and dangers of bodily injury, including permanent disability, death and property damage as well as other risks or losses not known or not foreseeable to me at this time ( Risks ); and (b) These Risks may be caused by my own actions or omissions, the actions or omissions of any of my crew members or any of the other participants / organizers of the ESC 2018 or the conditions in which the ESC 2018 takes place; and I hereby fully accept and assume all such Risks howsoever caused as a result of or in connection with my participation in the ESC 2018 and I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless each of, the ESC 2018 Commodore & ESC Committee and the companies they work for, its affiliated companies as well as their directors, officers and employees, the members of the ESC 2018 Organizing Committee, the partners of the ESC 2018 Organizing Committee (including, but not limited to the ESC-Coordinator and the event agency), the ESC 2018 Sponsors, and anyone else acting on behalf of any of the foregoing ( Indemnities ), from any claims for property losses, costs and damages as well as from all litigations expenses and attorney fees in connection with such claims, except in the event of wilful misconduct or gross negligence of any of the Indemnities. (2) Decision to Participate / Seamanlike Behaviour It is entirely and solely my decision to participate in the ESC 2018 or to continue participating in the ESC 2018 and I hereby warrant that if I observe any condition which I consider unacceptably hazardous or dangerous, I will refuse to participate in the ESC 2018 until such condition has been corrected to my satisfaction. It is entirely and fully my responsibility to ensure that I as the Skipper and my crew have all required seamanlike capabilities and will follow all required seaman like behaviour during the ESC (3) Rules and Instructions The establishment of any rules and / or instructions for the ESC 2018 by any of the Indemnities shall in no event limit or reduce my responsibility as a participant and skipper of the ESC 2018 according to this Agreement and Disclaimer or otherwise. (4) Insurance It is entirely and solely my responsibility to maintain at all times during the ESC 2018 adequate third party liability and other appropriate insurance for my Yacht and my liability as a participant and skipper of the ESC 2018 according to this Agreement and Disclaimer or otherwise. (5) Pictures, videos The Skipper accepts and approves on behalf of himself and the rest of the crew that during the event, pictures and videos, including those of the Skipper and the crew itself, may be taken and used rather published for purpose of sponsoring, advertisement of the event, documentation of the event, mainly during the event and/or the ESC web page (hereinafter Purposes ).Therefore the Skipper and the crew transfer all the rights in regard to the pictures and videos as mentioned above to the ESC 2018 Commodore & ESC Committee, the members of the ESC 2018 Organizing Committee, the partners of the ESC 2018 Organizing Committee, and anyone else acting on behalf of any of the foregoing, I have carefully read this Agreement and Disclaimer and fully understand its contents.
