For Classics and Modern Yachts. Arrival of exhibitors by water and road. Commercial exhibitors set up stalls am-onwards BBQ and sausage sizzle from servery at front of RGYC Club House pm Swap Meet on thr RGYC Marina. $10.00 per stall. 1.00pm Start of the First Race for Couta Boats ( Race 1 Couta Boat Cup, Sponsored by Yanmar Marine ) 1.00pm onwards Boat Builders display on hardstand 1.00pm Start of the Norglass Heron Series Race pm Start of race 2 in the Norglass Heron series. 2.00pm-5.00pm Music by The Jazz Connection Trio in front of RGYC Club House. 6.30pm-9.00pm (approx) Welcome BBQ for Wooden Boat Festival exhibitors, competitors, families and friends, on RGYC lawn. Food available from the BBQ servery, drinks from the Club bar. Restaurant meals available from RGYC Club House Marina Restaurant. (Pre-booking desirable. Ph ). 6.00pm-11.00pm Music and dancing in front of the RGYC Club House, featuring 60 s Rock Group Hors Bros.

Breakfast available from RGYC Club House Marina Restaurant All displays to be in position on hardstand area, or alongside marina. RGYC Historic Exhibition open in Club House and Boat Builders Display on hardstand (sponsored by ) The Tall Ship Enterprize taking trips on Corio Bay departs Stoney Pier ( check times ) Judging for the Whyte, Just & Moore Lawyers Concourse d Elegance and other prizes will take place. Results to be announced at the Festival Dinner commencing 6.30pm Food also available in RGYC Club House Marina Restaurant until 2pm. 7.00pm - BBQ and sausage sizzle from servery at front of RGYC clubhouse. Food also available in RGYC Club House Marina Restaurant. Boats taking part in the Ruth Plummer Grand Parade of Boats and Cavalcade of Sail leave the marina and make their way to the assembly point designated in the Sailing Instructions. Ruth Plummer Grand Parade of Boats and Cavalcade of Sail across the Geelong waterfront as per Sailing Instructions. Ongoing display of craft at the marina, and on the hardstand. Judging of prizes continues noon Live Presentation, Boats, Beaches, Bathing Belles. By Shirley Power and Colin Mockett. In the RGYC noon Four Winds Marine Corio Bay Classic Wooden Yacht Cup, and Race 2 Couta Boat Cup Sponsored by Yanmar Marine, as per Sailing Instructions for the events. To Take place within Corio Bay. 1.00pm Start of race 3 in the Norglass Heron Series pm Treasure Hunt and Children s entertainment by Captain Jack Sparrow. Judging of the Best Dressed Pirate. 2.00pm 4.00pm 5.00pm 6.30pm Live Presentation, Boats, Beaches, Bathing Belles. By Shirley Power and Colin Mockett. In the RGYC. Exhibitors wishing to, can begin to remove their craft from the hardstand area. The Wooden Boatshop Festival Dinner and prize presentations for the Whyte, Just & Moore Lawyers Wooden Boat Festival of Geelong will commence in the RGYC Club House. (Entry only by pre-purchased ticket. $50 per head. Ph to arrange). Guest speakers at Festival Dinner will be Lyn and Larry Pardey who will make a presentation on the restoration. Lyn and Larry need little introduction as they have an international reputation as Boat Builders and Cruisers. Monday 12th March am onwards 8.00am onwards Breakfast available in the RGYC Marina Restrauant. Craft on trailers left overnight can be retrieved from the hardstand area. Exhibitors depart RGYC
