1 Nottingham Dry SERC Season Scenario: They are a group of cycling enthusiasts who have had a long day off road biking through the Newberry National Park. After starting the day in the town of Stampstead they had managed to reach the outskirts of the National Park where they would be staying the night in The Burnston Hotel in a town called St. Groupston. As a group they decided after it had been such a hot and tiring day where temperatures reached 30 degree centigrade they would reward themselves with a meal out. They fancied a pizzeria so headed to Franks Restaurant. When asked all casualties know the following: They are at Franks Restaurant in St. Groupston just outside Newbury National Park. It has been a very hot day and they have all participated in some sort of physical activity that day. All a bit tired and just out for a relaxing meal. Only casualty 2 knows where the phone and first aid kit is and casualty 1 has a mobile phone but the battery is dead. The teams will have 30 seconds for their brief before entering the incident. You are working as the receptionist for the restaurant and will be sitting at the front desk when the SERC starts. You will be busy sorting through paper and will ask for the team s reservation. If they stop to talk keep them talking but if they just run past you keep looking through your papers. After 30 seconds regardless of what the teams do you will develop chest pains. If you are facing casualty 6 and 7 or you hear your mothers (6) panicked voice and you are not reassured by the rescuers you start to panic more as you see your mother and brother are in trouble.
