The optmal soluto of ths problem would substatally reduce costs for costructo ad operato of gas supply system. Results ad coclusos. I ths paper, we gve some recommedatos o desg of brach gas ppeles to crease the effectveess of ther operato. The results of techcal ad ecoomc studes of gas dstrbuto systems are preseted. To determe the optmal varat of the gas ppele, we desged software package whch allows to optmze smultaeously the pressure dstrbuto over the gas etwork ad geometrcal parameters. Itroducto I the process of complg gas supply plas for populated areas, there s ofte a eed to optmze the basc parameters of the ter-tow gas dstrbuto systems,. e. to determe the umber of ppes brachg from the gas-ma ppele, as well as ther ope cut locatos, the umber of gas dstrbuto statos (GDS) ad ther locato ad to choose the routg of the ppes brached from the tertow gas ppele [1 7]. The choce of the optmal varat of the routg of the ppes brachg from the tertow (ma) gas ppele amouts to fdg such a locato of the gas brach at whch the overall steel testy of the braches has a mmum value. We should start the search for a ratoal routg of ppes brached from the tertow (ma) gas ppele from frst determg the optmal umber of populated areas suppled by gas from the same GDS ad the optmal locato of GDS ad fally move o to the desg of the optmal gas-dstrbuto schemes betwee GDS ad populated areas (gas fuel cosumers). 1. Choosg the optmal gas brach ppe routg To solve ths, we offer oe of the mathematcal statstcs methods,. e. a smallest square method allowg to fd the equato for the straght (curve) le located at the smallest dstace from some radom pots. The essece of the choce of the optmal gas brach routg s that a arbtrary coordate system xoy s draw o the geeral pla of a gas-suppled area wth the locato of cosumers o t (Fg. 1). Fg. 1. These ot oly make the choce of the tertow gas brach ppes easer but they also allow for a comparatve aalyss of the gas supply systems wth varous locatos of gas brach ppes.. The authors of the artcle came up wth the program to optmze both the geometrcal parameters ad the pressure dstrbuto the etwork areas. 3. The results of the techcal ad ecoomc research of gas dstrbuto systems are gve. The troducto of the research results to the egeerg practce wll ehace the qualty projecto desgs.
