3 LOCATION: University of Utah HPER Natatorium 270 S 1850 E LODGING: We have reserved a block of double queen rooms for visiting teams at the Marriott University Park Hotel, located at 480 Wakara Way. The Marriott is located on campus and is a minute walk from the Utah Natatorium. To reserve your rooms at a discount rate of $142 per night, please contact the Marriott at Be sure to mention Rocky Mountain Invitational in order to receive the discount. FACILITIES: One eight-lane, 25-yard competition pool and one six-lane, 25-yard warm-up pool with an average depth of 6 feet, and one dive tank with 1m and 3m springboards. The competition pool is equipped with track start blocks for each lane, Aquagrip touch pads, and a Colorado 6 timing system coupled with a flip digit display scoreboard. The facility has seating for approximately 300 spectators. SWIM ENTRIES: The fee to enter the meet is $15 for College Club Swimming-registered swimmers and $20 for USMS-registered swimmers. Swimmers may pay an additional $6 to receive a commemorative RMI 2017 t-shirt. Athletes may enter in up to five (5) individual events total, with no more than three (3) events per day. There is no limit regarding how many relays any individual swimmer can swim on. Teams may enter A and B relays only. All t-shirt orders must be submitted by Wednesday, September 27, 11:59 PM MST. Please submit your order via our team s online store, which can be found at All swim entries must be submitted by Friday, October 6, 11:59 PM MST. Please submit meet entry payments at this time for each of your athletes on our team s online store. For all collegiate club teams, please send a Hy-Tek file of your events to our meet director at vicepresident@utahclubswimdive.com.

4 If you do not have access to Hy-Tek software, please contact the meet director and we will do our best to accommodate you. Failure to enter in Hy-Tek format without otherwise coordinating with the meet director will result in a $100 fine. All registered Utah LMSC U.S. Masters swimmers may submit their entries to the meet director by . USMS swimmers may pay their meet entry fees on our online store, by mailing a check to Utah Club Swimming and Diving, or by paying by check or card on the first day of the meet. DIVE ENTRIES The fee to enter the dive meet is $20. Divers may pay an additional $6 to receive a commemorative RMI 2017 t-shirt. Divers may compete in the 1m, the 3m, or both events. Divers will perform six dives in each event. Within the 6 dives performed, each diver must be able to complete at least one dive for 4 of the 5 directions (front, back, inward, reverse, twist). If 2 or more dives are failed, the diver will be disqualified from competition. All dive entries will be made in-person on the day of the dive meet. Divers may pay on the online store or by check or card on the day of the dive meet. INDIVIDUAL SCORING: PLACE POINTS RELAY SCORING (A TEAMS ONLY): PLACE POINTS RULES: The Rocky Mountain Invitational will follow U.S. Masters Swimming Rules and Regulations. For a complete listing of rules, please visit U.S. Masters Swimming Officials will be onsite to ensure compliance. USMS RECOGNITION: The swim meet is recognized by U.S. Masters Swimming, recognition number 347-R004. Should athletes wish to have their times counted toward U.S. Masters, a USMS membership number must be submitted with entries. All swimmers must be registered with College Club Swimming and/or U.S. Masters Swimming.

6 US DIVING RECOGNITION: The dive meet is recognized by U.S. Diving. All divers participating in the meet must have active U.S. Diving memberships. ATHLETE ELIGIBILITY: An athlete is eligible to participate in the meet and score points if they meet all the following criteria: 1. Athlete is a member in good standing for a club affiliated with a University or College OR is a registered member of an official U.S. Masters team. 2. Athlete is not receiving athletic scholarship for the current academic year. 3. Athlete meets the NCAA Amateurism eligibility standard. MARKETING NOTICE: Our team s Marketing Board will use all of our available resources to promote the meet through social media and around campus. We will be live streaming the meet through our Facebook page: Please share this page with your families, friends, and teammates who are watching from home. We encourage teams and individuals to post about the meet on their own social media platforms. For all Facebook, Instagram and Twitter posts, the official hashtag of the meet is #RockyMtnInvite17.
