Villaret Blvd. San Antonio, TX, Gabrielle Zabriskie Competitors must be registered as a regular athletes with USSS, and not higher than Intermediate or Novice level. All swimmers will receive a certificate for their participation. Figures, and Splits: A championship banner will be given to the club that achieves the best average of accomplished skills according to the evaluation chart. (See below for evaluation explanation.) Routines: Evaluators will pick out 2 routines that deserve the win for: 1. Best Presentation 2. Best Overall Execution Length 25 yards Width: 25 yards Depth: graduated 9-12 feet $75 per club $15 per swimmers participating in the Body Boost Clinic. 2 Directions: IH35 South Take the exit number 149- toward TX-16 S, Poteet. Turn LEFT onto Poteet Jourdanton Fwy. Turn LEFT onto I-410 S Frontage road. Make a U turn at the light (Zarzamora). Make a RIGHT at the main College entrance. Keep your left around the buildings. Aquatic Center will be on your RIGHT. Figures/Split Evaluation: Swimmers will collect points at each panel for achieving the skill according to the written criteria. Points will be calculated by club. The club with the best average of achieved skills will be returning home with the championship banner. Figures: TBD Splits: Executing splits on the floor (Right and Left side)/ 2 separate evaluations Points & Criteria: Flat on the floor: 5 points 6 or less from the floor: 3 points 6 or higher from the floor: 1 point Routines: There will be no scoring on the routines. Comments and feedback will be encouraged from all coaches and judges participating. 2 awards will be given: Best Overall Presentation & Best Overall Execution. Nominees may be suggested from each club participating in the routine event. A vote from all coaches and judges participating will decide the winners.

4 Body Boost Clinic The body boost: one of the most impressive skills in synchronized swimming, yet challenging if not executed properly. Gabrielle Zabriskie, head coach at The Aquarelles Synchro Club, will be hosting a clinic on the body boost. She will be giving the swimmers exercises and extra knowledge on how to gain height in their body boost. She will break down the skill step by step. This clinic is excellent for both beginners leaning the body boast, as well as swimmers looking to perfect the skill! The clinic will include: Any swimmers may participate to the clinic. $15 per swimmers 1. 3 key concept to execute a body boost properly a. Using the surface b. Using the torso c. Using the arms 2. Drills to keep training at practice 3. Specific cues on how to execute a held body boost
