Lane assignment and warm- up times for individual clubs will be posted on the Virginia Gators website no later than February 2, 20 and will also be ed to the contact person of the p articipating clubs. I f the morning session runs late, afternoon warm- ups will begin immediately after the morning s ession ends. Depending on the number of entries, the meet director reserves the right to change the start time and format of warm- ups. Teams would be notified not later than Tuesday, F ebruary 1, 20. 1

2 E NTRIES: D EADLINE FOR THE RECEIPT OF ENTRIES IS THURSDAY, JANUARY 27, 20 Entries must be submitted in short course yard times using Hy-Tek Team Manager and Commlink- 2 software, or on a VSI master entry sheet. Teams submit entries v ia e-m ail. A Team Manager printout of entries must be included or the meet checklist/summary sheet with the name of the person to contact in case of questions must accompany the entries, regardless of h ow they are submitted. C oach s Time (CT) and No Time (NT) w ill be accepted for events in which a swimmer does not have a time of record. CT may not exceed a BB time. All entry times other than CT must have b een achieved in USA Swimming sanctioned, approved, or observed competition. S wimmers may enter a maximum of 4 in dividual events a nd 1 r elay event p er day. R elay teams must be designated A, B, C, etc., if more than one per club is entered per event. Entries will be processed in the order received and a ccepted to the greatest extent possible without exceeding the 4- h our/session timeline limit. The Meet Director reserves the right to limit entries in any events, if necessary, to prevent too lengthy a session. Deck entries will be accepted in the order received for swimmers already entered in the meet, to t he extent that open lanes are available. No additional heats will be added. Deck entries must be submitted to the Clerk-of- C ourse on the provided forms. F EES: Individual events: $3. 00 R elay events: $12.00 S wimmer surcharge: $2.50 per person (entered in the meet in any capacity) Checks should be made payable to: Virginia Gator 2 Swimmin g. P ayment must be received by February 4, 20 for entries. Payment must be included with a ll mailed entries. F ailure to pay entry fees by this deadline could result in teams being barred from the meet. A WARDS: I ndividual events: Ribbons will be a warded for first through eighth for all events for 12 and younger s wimmers. o o 8 & Under i ndividual events will be awarded as 6 & Under, 7 y ear olds and 8 y ear & under events will be given separate awards for 8 & Un der and 9- age groups. & Over events will be given awards for the - 12 age group only. O FFICIALS: Meet Referee: Swimmers in the meet, unaccompanied by a USA-S coach must be certified by a USA- S coach as proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. Ensuring c ompliance is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer s legal guardian. S AFETY: V irginia Swimming Meet Safety Proced ures will be in effect. T IMERS: Clubs will be required to provide timers in proportion to the number of swimmers they have entered i n each session. The number of timers required per club and their lane assignments will be posted on the Virginia G ators website no later than February 2, 20 and will also be ed to the contact person of e ach of the individual clubs. G ENERAL: Complimentary lunch will be served for coaches, referees, starters stroke & turn judges, timing j udges, clerk of course, CTS opera tors and recorder. FACILITY R ULES: A concession stand will be available for swimmers and spectators. No other major activities will be taking place at the Gator Aquatic Center on February 4-6 except t his swim meet.
