1 YMCA at Pabst Farms Sectional 2017 Approval: WI A DATES: Saturday March 11, Sunday March LOCATION: YMCA at Pabst Farms 1750 Valley Rd. Oconomowoc, WI FACILITY: The YMCA at Pabst Farms competitive pool is an eight-lane, 25-yard course with 30 starting blocks and a starting end depth of 10. The pool is equipped with 7 lanes and features a Colorado Timing system and an eight lane LED Scoreboard. There will be a lane for warm-up and warm-down in the adjacent warm water therapy pool during the competition portion of the meet. We ask the all people attending the meet enter the Y though the West entrance. These doors will open at 7:30 am both mornings. If the west of our parking lot is full please feel free to use Summit Elementary School for overflow. TIMING: All events will be timed finals. 2 stopwatches will be used for each lane. Hytek Software in conjunction with Colorado Timing system will be used to run the meet. RULES: Official 2017 Short Course USA Swimming Rules and Wisconsin Swimming Rules shall govern the conduct of this meet. Swimmers must be registered as USA swimmers. Age is as December 1st, Please notify the meet director and meet referee for any special requirements for disabled swimmers on the entry form. Any swimmer entered in the meet must be certified by a USA Swimming member coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. When unaccompanied by a member-coach, it is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement. 2 ENTRIES: This meet will be run using the HY-TEK MEET MANAGER for Windows software. Export a meet entry file from Team Manager and it as an attachment. Upon completion of the meet, results, a commlink file and a MM Backup file will be posted on our website.. Please entry file to: zabelnathan@gmail.com Make checks payable to: YMCA at Pabst Farms. Hand entries will not be accepted. DISABLED SWIMMERS: Please indicate on the entry form any special needs for those athletes requiring assistance. Also, please inform the head official of those needs prior to the start of the meet. ENTRY LIMIT: Swimmers may compete in a maximum of 5 individual events per day plus relays. DECK ENTRIES: Deck entries will be allowed subject to Meet Director Approval and only to fill empty lanes in an event. Deck entries must be accompanied by a cash payment of $10.00 per individual event and $20.00 per relay. TIME TRIALS: Time trials will be held as needed at the conclusion of the pm session. Time trial entries must be submitted by the conclusion of pm warm ups for that day and must be accompanied by a cash payment of $10.00 per individual event and $20.00 per relay. SCHEDULE/ WARMUPS: AM Session Warm-ups 8:00am Meet starts 9:00am PM Warm-ups Immediately following AM session Additional warm up sessions, meet start times, and breaks will be determined after entries are received. The afternoon session will begin one hour after the start of warm ups. Estimated meet timeline will be sent out via , as soon as it is available. Feet first entries from the starting end of the pool during general warm-ups will be enforced for all sanctioned/approved competition. ADMISSIONS: Admission of $5.00 will be charged. Heat sheets will be digitally distributed. CONCESSIONS: A full array of concession will be available at the meet. RESULTS: Final results will be ed to all competing teams. The results will also be posted onto CONDUCT: All clubs will be responsible for the conduct of their own swimmers. Only coaches, swimmers, officials, and host meet workers are allowed on deck inside the roped area. Coaches must display USA credentials at on deck. In accordance with Federal Video Voyeurism Prevention Act of the use of camera phones or video recording devices in the locker rooms is prohibited. Except where venue facilities require otherwise, changing into or out of swimsuits other than in the locker rooms or other designated areas is not appropriate and is prohibited.
