2 ELCOME The Junior Development Program (JDP) is the place for juniors to begin OUR JDP STAFF the journey in the sport of tennis. JDP has consistently produced many players that have gone on to become highly ranked junior players, and has continued to grow the love of the game for all level players for almost 2 decades. Our MOTIVATION is to create a learning environment that is appealing and productive for our players wherever they are on their learning pathway. Our ATTITUDE is positive and we always try to teach our players to follow our lead when it comes to making the best use of their practices and match play opprotunities. Our COMMITMENT to you is that we will bring a consistent effort with our players to inspire them to be life-long tennis players JDP Fall/inter/Spring Dave Colby Director of Tennis Dave Colby has been at the helm of this program since 2001 and his leadership has shaped the positive culture and set the stage for learning in all levels of play. Dave has spent many hours on the tennis court over the last 16 years with Nick Bollettieri working with and inspiring the next generation watching Nick dispense his timeless tennis wisdom. Dave is a National Trainer for the USTA, Early Development Camp Faculty Coach and has been a featured speaker on Junior Development and programming for numerous NE and National conferences. Dave currently serves as the Net Generation ambassador for New England. His goal is to allow players to develop the skills they need to access the greatest sport of all time - Tennis! 4 JDP SESSION INFORMATION COMPETITION PATHAY Manchester Athletic Club s Junior Development Program runs from September 10 - June 14 in three sessions. All JDP classes are held during public and private school vacations. Make-up classes will be offered during the 5 days starting on June Nick Bollettieri, legendary tennis coach is linked to 10 #1 world-ranked tennis players. He has been collaborating with MAC Tennis for more than a decade.
