4 OPERATOR QUALIFICATIONS To par cipate in the IAMOA State Pool Tournament, an operator must: Be a member in good standing of the IAMOA. Be a member in good standing of the VNEA Send league sta s cs at the beginning, middle and end of league play for each pool league. Sanc on 100% of league players with VNEA and IAMOA. Leagues must be played on operator owned equipment. To par cipate in the IAMOA State Dart Tournament, an operator must: Be a member in good standing of the IAMOA. Be a member in good standing of the NDA. Send league sta s cs at the beginning, middle and end of league play for each dart league. Sanc on 100% of league players with NDA and IAMOA. Leagues must be played on operator owned equipment. Tournament Staffing Policy and Penal es: Charter Holders are required to provide qualified staff support for the state Dart and Pool tournaments. Charter Holders sending players to the tournament must provide: Dart Tournament: One worker for tournament set up or teardown, as scheduled. One qualified chart worker for a scheduled 12 hour shi during the tournament*. Workers scheduled to run charts must a end a mandatory bracket training orienta on via webinar or inperson to be held prior to the beginning of the tournament. Pool Tournament: One worker for tournament set up or teardown, as scheduled. One qualified chart worker for a scheduled 12 hour shi during the tournament*. Charter Holders who send players to an IAMOA Dart or Pool tournament, but do not send a qualified person to work the required hours, will be subject to the following penal es: First Offense**: Second Offense: Third Offense: Fourth Offense: $500 fine per shi missed and operator must work 24 hours at the next tournament which viola on occurred. $1,500 fine per shi missed and operator must work 36 hours at the next tournament which viola on occurred. One year ban from tournament play, $1,500 re instatement fee a er the ban is served. Five year ban from tournament play. **An offense is considered one or both shi s at a single tournament. If you miss two shi s at a single tournament, that is considered one offense. If you miss one shi at one tournament and then one shi at another tournament, that is considered two offenses. If you miss one shi at the Dart tournament and one shi at the Pool tournament in the same year, it is considered two offenses. 1

5 TOURNAMENT DEADLINES November 30, 2012 Tournament Participation Agreement and shift waiver payments due. (see page 8) All players participating in the State Dart Tournament must be sanctioned by the NDA ($8) and IAMOA ($2). State Dart Tournament entry is available online by logging on to the NDA website: January 4, 2013 Dart League requirements must be completed for all players entering the State Dart Tournament. State Dart Tournament entries and fees are due. All entries must be sent to IAMOA offices or be entered online. Entries submitted after January 1 will be subject to a $25 per event late fee. All late fees MUST be paid by cashier s check, money order or credit card. January 15, 2013 February 15, 2013 All late State Dart Tournament entries and fees are due. No entries will be accepted after this date. All entries must be sent to IAMOA offices. All players participating in the State Pool Tournament must be sanctioned by the VNEA ($10) and IAMOA ($2). Open Masters Ra ngs* NOTE: Open Master events have two divisions in Open Singles and Open Doubles only. 01 Events: In Open events, any player with a 29 PPD or above will be considered a Master rated player in all events. Master rated players may be placed in the highest level for an event. In double and team events, Master rated players will play no lower than Level 2. Two Master rated players must play in the highest level for that event. Cricket Events: In Open events, any player with a 3.4 MPR or above will be considered a Master rated player in all events. Master rated players may be placed in the highest level for an event. In Doubles and Team events, Masterrated players will play no lower than Level 2. Two Master rated players must play in the highest level for that event. *Players with a skill ra ng of either a 29 PPD or 3.4 MPR will be considered a Master rated player in all events during the tournament, both 01 and Cricket. Subs tutes and Onsite Alternates Subs tutes: The four (4) highest skill ra ngs will be used when calcula ng a team skill. It is helpful to use players with similar skills as subs tutes. On Site Alternates: Only a Charter Holder s league administrator can make player changes onsite. He or she must have stats and a copy of the entry form with them. No entries will be accepted at the tournament. Players must have equal or lesser stats to the person they are replacing to make the change. Master players are Masters in a Mixed Doubles or Team event regardless if they have higher stats. Master players in an Open Singles or Doubles event can only subs tute in their respec ve division. 4
