ALL athletes competing in the Ohio Senior Olympics (OSO) are expected to read and comply with the: Athlete Code of Conduct State Competition Protest Policy General Rules for the State Games

The OSO uses the rules book created by the National Senior Games Association for those sports that are offered at the National Senior Games.

The OSO uses the rules book created by the National Senior Games Association for those sports that are offered at the National Senior Games. Rules for those events not offered at the National Senior Games are those of the official organizing body. All rules, policies, and code of conduct can be found on the OSO website: Qualifying for National Senior Games All first, second, and third place winners in their age group will qualify for competition at the 217 National Senior Games. The shirt given to you in the athlete packet should be worn at the 217 National Games Parade of Athletes. Donate Your Extra Medals Don t want all of your 216 medals? Read your age divisions bracket carefully to learn your tournament format. (Attached to the event email.) The first two games will be rally scoring to 25, win by two, no cap.

Medal Ceremony The medal ceremony will take place shortly after the completion of each age division s tournament. Must be present to receive medals. They will not be mailed.

Athlete packets and shirts will be there for pick up. Format The tournament format varies with each age group due to the variation of registered teams. Read your age divisions bracket carefully to learn your tournament format. (Attached to the event .) The first two games will be rally scoring to 25, win by two, no cap. If a third game is needed, it ll be rally scoring to 15, win by two, no cap. Matches will follow the USA Volleyball rules, except as modified herein.
