1 When: Mondays Tuesdays Thursdays 2017 Summer Volleyball League The Launch Pad, 2560 Jordan Lane, Huntsville AL June 5th - July 1 th Middle School teams JV teams Varsity teams Times: (5:40 PM warmups, 6:00 games start) Where: The Launch Pad: 2650 Jordan Lane, Huntsville, AL Who: Middle School, JV and Varsity Level Volleyball Players (no school coaches can coach players from their school team) Players from a school can play together. Players not associated with a team are welcome to put together a team also. Cost: $60 per player: (up to 12 players per team) There s a $90 team forfeit deposit (may be returned, if there are no forfeits) $25 will be taken out of deposit for each night forfeited.) Teams must to wear the same color shirt, except the libero All teams will play at least 2 matches a night Matches will be best 2 out of 3 sets, rally scoring to 25, no cap. 3rd set, if needed will be to 15. Please designate a responsible person for your team. Contact person is responsible for calling in no shows, turning in forms and money (please wait until ALL money is received before sending it.) Upon receipt of all information they will receive information on the league to share with others, and will be contacted with any changes. 3 Rules and Regulations 1. Each team will play 2 matches per night. (First 2 sets to 25, no cap, 3rd set if needed to 15, no cap). Two 30 second timeouts per game. 2. Referees will ref from the floor and keep score on paper. Matches will be played according to the Alabama High School rules. 3. Each team is responsible for providing one line judge. They may sub in, but someone will need to take their place as line judge. 4. Substitutions: Same as AHSAA rules, no limit for Libero. There will be NO Libero tracker. 5. After the match, your team is responsible for cleaning up your area. 6. The first time your team forfeits a deposit of $25 will be returned. The second time your deposit will not be returned and your team will no longer be scheduled to play. It is important that your team shows up! Some teams have to travel an hour to play, please be responsible and have enough players for each week! 7. All players must have paid and signed a consent form before permitted to play! You can add players but they must pay and sign form before playing! 8. We will play a round robin format for the first 5 weeks. With championship tournament afterwards.
