Approx 15:00hrs, enter All Saints Parish Church for Remembrance Day Service commemorating the Centenary of start of WW1. The service will include the Rededication of Laid-Up Branch Standards which have just been rehung and protected from further deterioration Hornsea and District Willerby Kirkella & Anlaby 9th November Newbiggin to Gardens Hornsea 9 th November Hessle Town Hall All Saints Church Church Service then parade to Gardens for Wreath Laying Ceremony 2 pm at the Town Hall and step off at 2.10 to parade to All Saints Church in Hessle for a service and wreath laying ceremony at 2.30pm the parade will return to the Town Hall for Estimated Any civic dignitaries attendance 80 No 175 including members of the public 300 including local ACF, Pocklington School CCF, Scouts and Guides etc Yes Nth Yorks CC BC PB Town C Bewerley PC Deputy Lord Lieutenant for the East Riding of Yorkshire. Parade returns to Quilter Drive, salute taken by Deputy Lord Lieutenant. Parade dispeses, function back at British legion Mr R. Byass Deputy Lord Lieutenant York 1 Nov 14 South African, York Dedication of the Garden of Remembrance 10:30-11: Lord Mayor 2 Nov 14 Barbican centre York York Festival of Remembrance 19: Lord Mayor 8 Nov 14 AF in York Cemetery Wreath Laying service in conjunction with the Knights of St Columba. The service begins with a requiem mass in the cemetery chapel at 1230 hrs, (celebrant Canon Ryan). On completion at about 1315 hrs we will jointly process with our standards to the memorial cross fot the Act of Remembrance, sounding of Last Post and Reveille, laying the Branch wreath and any which others may wish to lay. 100+

Remembrance Service finishing at approx Noon. Parade reforms and marches down Eastgate, Wednesday Market, Butcher Row, Toll Gavel, Saturday Market, (Salute taken at Market Cross) North Bar Within and then onto Hengate. Parade falls out for ceremony at cenotaph in Hengate gardens with procedings finoshing at around 12:45. Uniformed sections reform on Hengate and march back to Old School Car Park where they are dismissed For Minster Service For Hengate Service On parade up to 200 As above Various up to County Sherriff. with representatives from 3 Armed Forces and civil dignitaries.
