3 How to Register Players 1. The player registration form is supplied as a word form so that they can be filled in on a computer; this form is not to be hand written. All details must be completed, any incomplete forms will be returned. 2. A digital photo of the player must be attached. The photo must be a head and shoulders picture (like a passport photo) no hats or sunglasses to be worn. If necessary the photo should be cropped before inserting it into the registration form. NB the photo MUST be in jpg portrait format (passport size) so that they can be used for the Registration Cards. Please ensure the file name is the players full name NO nicknames or initials. 3. The registration form must then be printed off and signed and dated by the player, the player s parent or guardian and an official of the club (Chairman or Secretary). This printed form must be kept by the club. 4. OPTION A If the player played for your team in the MJPL in the 2012/13 season, then (a) No ID is necessary (b) No Input to the FA Full Time system is necessary (c) the fully completed registration form and a separate photo (jpg format, passport size) for registration card purposes to mjplregistrations@mjpl.org.uk OPTION B If the player is new to the MJPL or new to your team for 2013/14, then (a) You will need a copy of his official ID (birth certificate, passport, medical card etc.) (b) Input the following details onto the FA Full Time system (you will not see the player registered on the system until he has been approved by the player registration secretary. Please note that until the player has been approved on the system they are NOT eligible to play) Please enter the players name, address, date of birth, team/age group. (c) the fully completed registration form, a separate photo (jpg format, passport size} for registration card purposes, and his ID, to mjplregistrations@mjpl.org.uk 5. Please be aware that it is the clubs responsibility to ensure that any player that last played in a team based in any other country than England (this includes Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) MUST have an International Clearance Certificate before the player can be registered with the MJPL. 2

4 6. Once the player has been approved on the system a registration card will be produced, these cards must be carried to all games and must be shown to the opposition. 7. DEADLINES (a) In order for the Registration cards to be produced for the start of the season you MUST send a minimum of 11 players details by the 28 th July 2013 (more if possible!). NB this is to enable you to get the players to sign the paperwork before the summer holidays! (b) All registrations MUST be received by the 25 th August 2013 in order for the Registration cards to be produced for the start of the season. (c) During the season player registration details MUST be received by the Friday night at 9.00pm in order for them to play on the Saturday morning. 5 FA Full Time Player Registration 1. To register a players details onto the Full Time system, please log in and follow the steps below; Click Register Player You must then fill in the following details First Name Last Name Date of Birth Team (select your team/age group) Address Line 1 Town/City (Everything else is optional) Click Create Then repeat from Register Player for each player. NB: You will not see your player in your players list until I have all the paperwork e- mailed to me and I approve them on the system. 2. To see your list of approved players; Click People Wizard Click Player Select your age group and Click Refresh This gives you a list of all your approved players. 4

6 Transfers 1. If you wish to transfer a player a transfer form must be fully completed by the club requesting a transfer. 2. The form must be submitted to the registration Secretary who will contact the club holding the registration for the player. 3. The club holding the players registration have seven days to object in writing to the transfer. If kit has not been returned to the club holding the players registration then the transfer will not be allowed until returned. 4. If the club agrees or if they do not reply the transfer will go through after seven days. If the club holding the registration agree the transfer may go through before the seven days. 5

7 Arranging the Game 1. The home team must contact the away team and referee by 9pm on the Monday. This can be by telephone or . If contact is made by the away team must confirm receipt of the details. 2. If you are the away team and have not heard from the home team please contact the League Secretary. 3. If a 3G or 4G pitch is to be used the away team must be informed a minimum of 24 hours before the game. 4. In the event of likely bad weather please ensure you have confirmed the time the away team will leave to travel to your ground. 5. If the game is called off please inform the away team before they begin to travel. If possible the game should be called off on the Friday evening. 6. Remember if the game is called off you must also inform the referee, failure to do so will mean the referee may need to be paid for his attendance. 6

8 Match Day 1. It is the home teams responsibility to ensure that if a permanent pitch barrier is not present then a respect barrier must be in use. The barrier must run the FULL length of the pitch and be a minimum of two meters from the touch line. Painted lines or cones are NOT acceptable. 2. All spectators must remain behind the barrier. No spectators should be on the technical area side of the pitch. If spectators are found within this area they will be asked to move and the club will have to explain themselves to the management committee. 3. The only people allowed in the technical area are the substitute players and a maximum of three QUALIFIED coaches. The minimum number of coaches is two. 4. It is the home teams responsibility to provide post-match hospitality of a hot or cold meal and drinks for the players, coaches, match officials and league representatives. 5. All players and officials are expected to attend the post-match hospitality failure to do so will result in disciplinary action being taken. 6. Both teams must complete their team sheet and copies must be handed to the referee and opposition. Please keep your copies of the team sheets as they will be required later. Please note this are NOT posted to the league. 7

9 Reporting Results 1. Both teams will receive a text message during the game asking for the result of the game. To return the score simply enter the home score then the away score e.g 1-1. If the game is postponed then you would enter p-p. No other text should be entered on the text. 2. After the game both teams have until 10pm on the Monday evening to enter the details of the game onto the fulltime site. Please select results from the menu once logged in and follow the prompts. Before you can enter the match details you must answer a few questions regarding the match venue. 3. When entering substitutes that have played during the game please only mark them as a roll on roll off sub. If they have not been used mark them as an unused sub. If a player was not in the squad of 16 leave these players options blank. 4. Both teams have until 10pm on the Friday evening to check the details entered by the opposition on the system with the team sheet you have been given. Any discrepancies must be ed to the league secretary before the 10pm deadline. 5. Failure to complete all areas of match reporting will be monitored by our systems administrator and will result in disciplinary action. 8

10 Match Reports 1. The home team only must enter a match report onto the full time system by 10pm on the Monday evening. 2. When writing the match reports please remember that the players read these reports. 3. Do not use this facility as a means of complaining or criticising the match officials or opposition. Any complaints must be sent to the league Secretary as detailed in rule Any complaints regarding the match reports should be sent to the league secretary by the Friday 10pm deadline. 9
