The photos will be up on the website shortly! Team photos are this Saturday, please contact your team Manager for further details. Saturday is also the Junior League Women in League Cocktail party. It starts at 7pm at the Aqua Bar at Sharkies, everyone should ve received my with the details. Please let me know if you are interested in going. Monster Raffle tickets have arrived and will be distributed to you all shortly. Please let me know if you are willing to take a book of tickets to sell! Please remember that the tickets are $5 each and all proceeds of sales come back to The Titans J U6 Gala Day is going to be held at Gwawley on Sunday 5 th August. The 6 s do not play on Saturday 4 th...which is the last round of the competition. No games next weekend (middle weekend) of the school holidays. We DO play on Saturday 14 th!!! Presentation day is Saturday 15 th September. Time is running out to place your orders for the tracksuits, training shirts, sloppy joes and reflector jackets. It was good to see you all putting in 110%. We were just asleep in the first third, where they got a bit away from us. Once we woke up we kept their score down. There were some great offloads today, which resulted in some of our tries being scored. Some fantastic chases, which stopped the other team from scoring. We just need to remember that if we are close to them then we can dive to tackle and stop them. More practice of this at training will get us there. Our tries this week went to Dylan x3 and Kacey x 1. Dylan also scored our first goal of the season. Man of the Match went to Prashant, Encouragement Award to Luke.G and Coaches Award to Paul. It was great to see everyone putting in an effort and having a go. Manager - Tanya

10 10 U7 Green Aquinas Colts James Matthew Junior Avega Corrine Johnson Round 11 U7G v s Gymea Gorillas --- Titans Lost The one that got away Jhett CLARKE Zane KAROUT Isaiah FONG Jett MATTHEW Wade ALIILUA- AEGA Jonathon JOCK Jirah HETA Dylan ISSA The boys this week went up against the big green Gymea Gorillas, they were big and fast and defended well to their credit. Our boys again showed heart and matched them for most of the game, in a sea sawing match that saw both Teams score some great tries. The boys are improving and starting to work as a Team, but again our defence let us down, there was nothing in it, with Gymea running away with the points in the final part of the game. I felt the boys could have won this one, but l am sure our boys will come away knowing that they gave Gymea Gorillas a run for their money. They can all hold their heads high as all the boys did their best, well done boys we are proud of you. With a big effort this week the Man of the Match went to James Gouskos, well done James, keep up the good work. McDonalds award this week went to Dylan Issa who showed heart from start to finish, well done Dylan fantastic work. Bosco took advantage of the lack of Titan s defense and took a 40 nil lead into the half time break. Boys, it is all about defense, working as a team and not letting one player do all of the work for you. Following some firm but honest words at half time, the boys seemed to lift a little and took to the field in the 2nd half with an improved attitude and commitment and the scoreline in the 2nd half was 8-6 which shows you can be competitive if your minds are in the game. There were some good patches of play from some of the boys towards the end of the game but special mention must go to Costa who was an absolute machine today, the best game we ve seen him play in a long time and he never stopped trying. A massive effort for the full 40 minutes was rewarded with him scoring a well deserved try and conversion. Keep your heads up, minds and hearts in the game and I m sure we ll see big improvements in the remaining weeks of the season. Bianca

15 15 U10C Kurnell Noel Thornberry Asst Heath Hedges Adam Parker Glenn Reid John Keith First half blues again this week combined with lack lustre defence resulted in Kurnell getting too far in front of us at half time. The second half (as usual) was markedly better. Five games left till the end of the season and we need to get a roll on starting this week if we are to make the semi s. Great game again from Jayden who was everywhere in defence and made some great attacking runs. 16 16 U11B Gymea Darren Law Patrick Clement Alison Ashley Seldon Koby Napper Jackson Matthews Luke Kemmler Cayllum McAllister Joshua Jock Blake Clements Zach Law Todd Kemmler Fletcher Eck Lochlan Bubb-Beal We always knew it was going to be a tough assignment playing against Gymea 1's considering we have lost a couple of players, they had defeated us in the first rounds and we looked like starting the field with only eight players. Josh, Soloman and Bailey stepped up and we took the field a little late with only ten players. But to tell the truth we underestimated the courage and will to win the boys possessed. Maybe thats the trick, no training during the week, one minutes worth before the game and throw them out there. Fletcher backed himself early and scored a great try. The early lead seemed to boost the boys confidence and they defended like a brick wall. A couple of interesting decisions by the ref saw plenty of possession go to Gymea and the scored late to take us to the half time break 6 all. The calvary arrived in the form of the Kemmler twins and the wall of defence kept the Gymea side scoreless. All the boys chipped in for possible the try of the season. The ball went through at least five sets of hand, had a perfect kick on the end of it and the flying winger Josh Jock scored in the corner. Each boy out there gave his all and stood up to be counted. Zach Law played his best game of the year for man of the match effort.

The Titans boys, without 4 of their regular players, put in a titanic effort and stayed with De La throughout the bulk of the game. Our defenders were hungry for work and many times we were able to force turnovers by sheer pressure. Our attack looked fluent with some quick plays and good talking by our playmakers. Overall, our structures looked really good and all the hard work at training is really starting to show. The teamwork was also great to watch. Well done boys, this should give you some confidence that you can beat these guys! Thanks go to the boys that filled in as replacements.
