1 Hi Point Competition Information The competition runs from 1 st August to 31 st July annually Points are only counted from the date payment has been received Entries must be received by the first Friday in August, any entries received after this will not be accepted All points collected during the year can be recorded. Your top 5 of each category will be used Categories are New Zealand wide Horses must be registered and owned by a current financial member of the Society. They are to be competed in the name of the registered owner or leasee and entered under their registered name If the horse is sold the points earned will remain with the horse No responsibility taken for forms lost in the post or received after the cut-off date PRIZES Each category will have placings to 3 rd place in each division and each placing receives 1 st Triple Sash, 2 nd and 3 rd Sash INHAND & The Showing competition is split between Pinto section showing and Open showing Restricted shows do NOT count e.g. Novice shows, Adult Riding Club shows with age restrictions, shows that don t allow A&P champions to compete etc. Novice classes, Best Tail, Best Head & Multi coloured do not count towards points. You can only count Youth or Adult classes per show not both Pinto Showing Miniature/ & Pinto showing - Pinto classes in Pinto sections at RAS affiliated shows, NZ National Showcase Show, Premier Show, North or South Island Pinto shows and Best Registered Pinto classes Inhand - Youngstock 3 years and Adult 4 years & over. Ridden - 3 years & over Open Showing Miniature/ & Open Showing is for showing that s not in the Pinto section e.g. RAS affiliated open classes e.g. Saddle Hunter, Park etc. at RAS affiliated shows, HOY, NZ National Showcase Show, Premier Show, includes Flat classes in Pleasure, Club, Stock & Station, Western and Harness Inhand - any age, Ridden - 3 years & over Points Score System for Showing only No in programme 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th Over Champion 2 Reserve Champion 1 Supreme 2

Sire & progeny must be registered with the Society. Sire to be owned by a current financial member. Sire must also be recorded on progeny's registration cards in order to take part in this award. Progeny's Hi Point total points to go towards sire ratings points total. Sire with most points is the annual winner. No entry is required. Winner receives a sash.
