(SDI) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit business management corporation established to oversee all marketing and promotional activities for the successful growth of Summit s Special Improvement District. 2 Summit Downtown Restaurant Week When: July 20 July 30, 2017 What: Foodies of all ages enjoy special prix fixe menus, special menu items, discounts, and more at downtown Summit eateries. Event also features a photo contest. Event now held in Summer to promote outdoor cafes and eating locally grown and produced foods. 3 Summit Summer Farmers Market When: 8am-1pm every Sunday, April 23-November 19, 2017 Who: Avg. 3,000 patrons/week What: With 30 vendors, it is widely regarded as one of NJ s best Farmers Markets. Shoppers from Summit and surrounding towns come to the market every week to shop for high quality foods and produce. Also serves as a community gathering place. 1 Sponsorship available Major Sponsor - $5,000 downtown business / $10,000 business outside of Summit -Banner across Springfield Avenue (if sponsorship received by April 10) -Monthly Summit Farmers Market newsletter, sent to approx. 15,000 addresses -Summit Farmers Market website Sunday Fundays at the Summit Farmers Market Blueberry Muffin, Salsa, and Pumpkin/Sweet Potato Pie Contests: Seasonal special events held at the Summit Farmers Market. Foodies of all ages enter their culinary creations for a chance to win Farmers Market Fun Money. Farmers Market patrons stop by the booth to sample the entries. Exposure to Summit Farmers Market Patrons for one Sunday. Pumpkin Painting: Children can purchase a pumpkin from any of the farmers or for $2 at the painting station. 4 Downtown Trick-or-Treat When: October 31, 2016, 2:30-5PM Who: Approx. 3,000 children ages toddler through high school and their parents What: All are invited to dress in costume and visit participating downtown businesses for treats. Major Sponsor - One available at $1,000 / $2,000 -A table at Lyric Park to hand out promotional materials to trick-or-treaters : Event poster, Lyric Park Banner, Summit Downtown, Inc. website, social media posts, any print and/or electronic ads, and news releases. Supporting Sponsor - Two available at $500 / $1,000 -A table at Lyric Park to hand out promotional materials to trick-or-treaters -Logo/business name on advertising material including Summit Downtown, Inc. website, social media posts, and news releases New! Summit Downtown Fitness Event When: October 22, 2017, morning-afternoon, specific time TBD What: This is a new event for 2017! Fitness studios will offer shorter sample classes for donations to a local charity. Health food and athletic wear stores will also participate. Major Sponsor - One available at $1,000 / $2,000 -Banner across Springfield Avenue -Event registration page - newsletter to approx. 15,000 addresses -A centrally-located table where you may hand out promotional materials, collect addresses, etc.

5 Summit Snowflake Stroll When: December 1, 2017, 5-9PM Who: Holiday shoppers and diners, men and women, mainly ages What: Holiday shoppers enjoy a festive night out in downtown Summit. Stores will stay open late and feature their holiday merchandise, restaurants will offer specials, and Snowflake the Elf will be back distributing Snowflake Dollars. Major Sponsor - One available at $2,000 / $4,000 -Banner across Springfield Avenue - newsletter to approx. 15,000 addresses Snowflake Dollar Sponsor 50 available at $50 / $100 -Sponsor name will be included on list of Snowflake Dollar Sponsors, displayed when Dollars are distributed. -Business name on Summit Downtown, Inc. website and inclusion in social media Caroler Sponsor One available at $750 / $1,500 -Sponsor the fantastic Victorian era carolers, and you ll receive signage at their performance place and a photo of them in costume with your sign. -Business name in all press releases, on SDI website, inclusion in social media. Horse & Carriage Rides When: Three Saturday afternoons in December Who: All ages, wide appeal What: Families come to downtown Summit to do some holiday shopping and dining while enjoying free horse and carriage rides through town. Three-Week Sponsor One available at $2,000 / $4,000 -Sponsor the horse and carriage rides for all three Saturdays and have your logo featured on the event poster. I understand that my sponsorship will only be reserved once my organization pays 50% of the sponsorship fee for each event we wish to sponsor and agrees to pay the remaining 50% no later than 2 weeks before the start of the event. I will in no way hold the event, its organizers, Summit Downtown, Inc., the City of Summit, its affiliates or third party organizations liable for any damages caused directly or indirectly by my company s participation. 50% of total due to reserve sponsorship.
