2 The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Green Bay is excited to announce the first-ever Greater Green Bay Dragon Boat Races! On July 28, 2018, authentic dragon boats will be prominently displayed at City Deck, and participants will showcase their team work with some good-natured and spirited competition. Support our local Boys and Girls Club by being an event sponsor or registering as a corporate, community, or club team. Individual signups are also welcome! 3 PADDLE FOR A PURPOSE: Invigorate your team and boost comradery in the work place! Grab a paddle, make your way to the City Deck, and unleash your inner dragon with the Boys & Girls Club! Dragon boat racing is one of the fastest growing water sports in the world and focuses on the importance of collaboration, communication, and efficiency. Sound familiar? Just like the work place, dragon boat racing does not focus on individual strength, but on team involvement and working together towards a common goal not to mention, it s a lot of fun! This activity and event is accommodating to all fitness levels, ages, and strengths. Whether you re the summer intern or the CEO, every paddler is of equal importance, creating a unique environment that strengthens bonds and encourages team work. In the event that GGBDBR shall be prevented from performing any of its obligations under the terms of this agreement by an act of God, by inclement weather (for example flash floods, excessive winds, tornados, lightning, fire, etc.) or by the occurrence of any other event beyond its control, it shall be excused from any further performance of the obligations and undertakings set forth under the terms of this agreement.
