Game went to the last inning before it was decided. Congratulations to all for a GREAT game! Golden Triangle Sams had their monthly December campout at Paradise Oaks, Bushnell. Thursday arrivals had pleasant blue sky weather and got set up for a relaxing weekend. We had 17 rigs camping and two drive ins. We shared the CG with a Winnebago group. Friday afternoon some of the members Crafted some glass jar decoration in preparation for a craft sales show during the January 2015 campout, also at Paradise Oaks. Friday evening we played two fun games: one couple with only two hands wrapping a gift; an a balancing act with paper plates and aluminum cans. Saturday s breakfast included a number of delicious egg dishes prepared by the hosts. A breakfast fit for Kings and Queens. At 10:00 AM, President Jim Gonya conducted the business meeting. The first order of business was the swearing in of the new officers. The ceremony was conducted by Rich Vander Bok: President = Jim Gonya; Vice President = Marie Galusha; Treasurer = Jim Galusha; Secretary = Rose Mary Culp. At 1:00, we played a great game game of Bean Bag Baseball. See photo and story. We played our game under the old large Oak tree so with the pleasant afternoon weather we had a grand time tossing the bean bags and hollering both discouraging and encoraging comments. Dinner was a delicious Christmas feast prepared by the hosts with all the fixings and yummy desserts. And the gift exchange, lead by Janet Marks, was fun and entertaining as some of the gifts were claimed and reclaimed. Sunday morning was sweet things to share with more visiting and good-byes until next month. Thanks to the hosts: Dianne & Jim Gonya, Roger & Sharon Hime, Tom & Nancy Leonard and Mickey & Janet Marks. Wishing all a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
